This year’s SingaCup U14 competition features almost an entirely new slate of teams.

The teams that returned from the 2016 competition (http://www.singacup.com/2016-u14/) are:
– Mindil Aces from Australia (finished 4th in their group in 2016)
– Football Talent Asia from Malaysia (finished 4th in their group in 2016)
– Junior Dream Team from Singapore (finished 4th in their group in 2016)

In this year’s expanded edition of 15 teams (up from 10 teams in 2016), we can see traditional powerhouses in previous SingaCup edition, joining the fray for the U16 title. Cockburn City (Australia) was the 2nd runners up in 2015, along with, Football Plus (Indonesia), Imran Soccer Academy (Indonesia), Football West (Australi) – all are seasoned participants of SingaCup.

Teams like JSSL Football Club (Singapore), JPV Malaya Football Academy (Philippines) and South Coast Baptist College (Australia) are also expected to give their opponents a good run for their money.

JPV Malaya Football Academy
Malaya Football Academy is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving lives through the sport of football, based in Quezon City, Philippines. They joined forces with Japan Philippines Voltes Marikina Football Club, a top level football club that is currently playing in the Philippines Football League, for this adventure to the SingaCup. (as of the timing of this article, JPV Malaya FA had qualified for the quarter finals, to meet JSSL Football Club in the 1st Quarter Finals)
