Applicable rules

  • Rule 12.3, Before game: “All teams must be ready to play at the prescribed kickoff time. It is the duty of the team managers to ensure that their team is ready to play at this time.”
  • Rule 17, Walk Over: “Any team who fails to appear at the appointed time and venue for a match without a valid reason will be subjected to a 3-0 walkover, after a decision by the jury.” and “Teams have 15 minutes of grace after the scheduled kick-off time. A team that is still not at the pitch and ready to play when those 15 minutes are up loses the match by a 3-0 walkover, confirmed by the jury.”
  • Rule 14, Tournament jury: The jury is the Tournament Director, Chief Referee (Asia) and Chief Referee (Europe). “Their decisions cannot be appealed.”

Decision

After reviewing the matter, the Tournament Jury has ruled that U16 Match B2 is a 3–0 walkover win to Queensway Secondary (Singapore). The official result and the U16 Group B standings reflect this decision.

Note

We remind all teams to arrive 1 hour before kick-off, and no later than 30 minutes before (Rule 12.3), so every match starts on time.
