Facts

On Girls Under-16 (U16) Day 7 at The Arena Woodleigh, Group B Match 6 (B6) is the final Group B fixture: Queensway Secondary (Singapore) vs LS Talents Victoria Barwon Heads FC (Australia), kick-off 11:00.

Before B6, the Group B table stands as follows (each team has played two group matches):

  • Future All Stars (Singapore) – 6 points (goal difference +21)
  • BISP Cruzeiro (Thailand) – 6 points (goal difference +18)
  • LS Talents Victoria Barwon Heads FC (Australia) – 0 points (goal difference -7)
  • Queensway Secondary (Singapore) – 0 points (goal difference -32)

BISP Cruzeiro and Future All Stars meet in Group B Match 5 at 10:00. Whatever the result of that match, both sides will finish on at least 6 points. Queensway Secondary and LS Talents Victoria Barwon Heads FC can finish B6 on at most 3 points. Group B 4th place is therefore mathematically certain to be whichever of Queensway Secondary or LS Talents Victoria Barwon Heads FC finishes fourth after B6.

Quarter-Final 1 is Group A 1st versus Group B 4th. Group A 1st is already confirmed as Lion City Sailors G16 (Singapore) on 9 points.

Under the previous timetable, Quarter-Final 1 was listed at 12:00 and Quarter-Final 2 at 13:00. That left the Group B 4th-placed team with only about one hour between the end of B6 and its quarter-final.

Decision

The Organising Committee has swapped the kick-off times of Girls U16 Quarter-Final 1 and Quarter-Final 2 so that the team that finishes Group B 4th has proper rest before its quarter-final.

Revised Girls U16 schedule at The Arena Woodleigh on Friday, 6 November 2026:

  • 11:00 – Group B Match 6 (B6): Queensway Secondary (Singapore) vs LS Talents Victoria Barwon Heads FC (Australia)
  • 12:00 – Quarter-Final 2 (QF2): Group B 2nd vs Group A 3rd
  • 13:00 – Quarter-Final 1 (QF1): Group A 1st (Lion City Sailors G16 (Singapore)) vs Group B 4th
  • 14:00 – Quarter-Final 3 (QF3): Group B 1st vs Group A 4th (unchanged)
  • 15:00 – Quarter-Final 4 (QF4): Group A 2nd vs Group B 3rd (unchanged)

Note

Teams, managers and officials for Girls U16 Quarter-Final 1 and Quarter-Final 2 should follow the revised kick-off times above. Quarter-Final 3 and Quarter-Final 4 are unchanged. The Girls U16 competition page will be updated to match this statement.
