MilkLife Kickers won 13-0 then fell narrowly 0-1 on day one of Singa Cup 2026 Girls U14 in Singapore.

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The MilkLife Kickers girls’ football team started Singa Cup 2026 with a 13-0 win over South Coast Baptist College from Australia, before losing 0-1 to Lion City Sailors in Singapore.

The two matches at The Arena, Woodleigh, Singapore, on Thursday were a test for Timo Scheunemann’s side in the Girls U14 category, facing opponents up to two years older.

Another thing that I have to appreciate is that they compete against opponents who are two years older than them. So, this is good for the players’ mental training.

Timo Scheunemann, MilkLife Kickers coach

In the first match, MilkLife Kickers dominated, scoring 13 goals without reply against South Coast Baptist College.

Albianca Raula and Garneta F. Imelda each scored three goals (hat-tricks), Anisa T. Sholica scored two, and Askara S. Fahilah, Rere Z. Farza, Ananda N. D. Berlian, Riyanti S. Suryani and Giada Soebianto scored one each.

MilkLife Kickers met stiffer resistance against Lion City Sailors in the second match. The more organised hosts limited the Indonesian players before Madeliene’s goal in the 23rd minute sealed the win.

Timo said the two matches gave his players important experience, especially adapting to the 11-a-side format.

I see they can quickly adapt to the 11 against 11 scheme. At MilkLife Soccer Challenge, they are used to playing 7 against 7 in the regional phase and 9 against 9 at the All-Stars stage.

MilkLife Kickers next face Fremantle City FC of Australia and BMW of Singapore in Group A.

The Singa Cup 2026 Girls U14 category uses a single round-robin from 5–7 November to decide each team’s final position.

MilkLife Kickers is made up of players selected from the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2025/2026.

Overall, 136 teams from 13 countries took part in Singa Cup 2026.
