Singa Cup 2026: MilkLife Kickers U-14 had their mentality tested on day one after a 13-0 win and a 0-1 loss.

Jakarta – Indonesia’s girls’ side MilkLife Kickers U-14 appeared at Singa Cup 2026, following the success of MilkLife Strikers U-12 at the same event.

MilkLife Kickers played two Girls U-14 matches on day one at The Arena, Woodleigh, Singapore, on Thursday (5 November 2026).

Timo Scheunemann’s team beat Australia’s South Coast Baptist College 13-0, then lost 0-1 to Lion City Sailors.

I see they can quickly adapt to the 11 against 11 scheme. At MilkLife Soccer Challenge, they are used to playing 7 against 7 in the regional phase and 9 against 9 at the All-Stars stage.

Timo Scheunemann, MilkLife Kickers coach

The players also succeeded in carrying out the instructions I gave, namely building attacks through a combination of passes. Another thing that I have to appreciate is that they compete against opponents who are two years older than them. So, this is good for the players’ mental training.

Timo Scheunemann, MilkLife Kickers coach

Indonesia earlier also fielded Girls U-12 side MilkLife Strikers under Jacksen F. Tiago, who went on to win the title.

Just like what we did yesterday with MilkLife Strikers in the U12 category, MilkLife Kickers’s participation is also a form of our efforts to provide maximum opportunities to the best players from MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars.

Teddy Tjahjono, MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director
