JAKARTA, Sportszone.id – MilkLife Strikers put on a brilliant display at Singa Cup 2026, the world’s biggest annual youth age-group tournament. Facing the hosts’ representatives, Lion City Sailors, Jacksen F. Tiago’s team won 6-1.

Playing at The Rainforest Hub, West Coast, Singapore, on Sunday, 1 November 2026, Ika Wonda was impressive. The forward from SD Kristen Manahan Surakarta scored three goals, a hat-trick.
The big win put MilkLife Strikers provisionally top of the group standings with 3 points. They are in a tight race with Selangor FC Academy A, who also have three points.
As is well known, Singa Cup is one of the annual tournaments held in Singapore since 2011. This year, Singa Cup featured 136 teams from 13 countries from various parts of the world.
This year, Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and MilkLife sent MilkLife Strikers, made up of players selected from the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2025/2026, to take part in the Girls U12 category.
Singa Cup 2026 for the Girls U12 category is attended by four teams with a round-robin league system which will take place from 1 to 3 November 2026. This step will certainly enrich their experience and add to their playing time, because the players can test themselves directly against opponents from various countries. We also see this as an opportunity to measure the output of the development carried out through MilkLife Soccer Challenge. Today, we are happy that the players were able to play well and win,” said Teddy.

Jacksen F. Tiago, MilkLife Strikers coach

Beyond the play, Jacksen also praised the team cohesion built from preparation through to their time in Singapore. He said the chemistry between the players is important capital for MilkLife Strikers to play solidly on the pitch.
Before leaving for here, the players went through intensive preparation. From the start, we focused on building the players’ chemistry on the pitch. As a result, today I saw them all blend in and play as a unit. They managed to close the distance between one another even though they come from different team backgrounds.

Meanwhile, one of MilkLife Strikers’ scorers, Ika Wonda, said she was happy to start the tournament with a positive result. She said the win was the fruit of the hard work of all the players during the training camp.
Ika also scored a hat-trick in the match. She said the three goals owed much to Jacksen’s special instruction asking her to carry out her main task as a forward.
