The MilkLife Soccer Challenge girls’ football tournament has finished. From the event, the coaching team has named the best players who will represent Indonesia at Singa Cup 2026 in Singapore.
KUDUS, 30 June 2026 – The selection was made through thorough monitoring of the participants’ performance throughout the competition. The result is two squads to be sent: a U-12 team of 16 players and a U-14 team of 18 girls.

MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director Teddy Tjahjono said sending the players to Singapore is part of the continuing development programme run by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation with MilkLife. The step is expected to give the young athletes valuable experience of the atmosphere of international-standard matches.
After sending two teams to JSSL Singapore 7’s 2025 and finishing runners-up, this year 34 of the best players in MilkLife Soccer Challenge All Stars 2026 again get the chance to play at Singa Cup 2026. The tournament is scheduled for 31 October to 7 November 2026 and is known as one of the most prestigious youth football competitions in Asia, with participants from various countries, including Indonesian football academies.
We formed two teams filled with the best players based on the talent scouting team’s monitoring to appear at Singa Cup 2026. We hope this event can accelerate the development of their ability, build competitive mentality, and add experience at international level. All of that is an important part of preparing the regeneration of players for the Indonesian Women’s National Team.
Teddy Tjahjono, Program Director, MilkLife Soccer Challenge
MilkLife Soccer Challenge Head Coach Jacksen F. Tiago explained that the search for players does not focus only on individual technical ability. In his view, playing intelligence, or football intelligence, is also an important aspect in deciding who deserves a place in the squad. He judges that the elementary-school-age girls in MilkLife Soccer Challenge have shown positive development: besides playing with confidence, they understand the flow of the game and take the right decisions on the pitch, even beyond the average ability of players their age.
We look for players with football intelligence, able to adapt to changes in the game, play effectively, manage tempo and play dynamically during matches.
Jacksen F. Tiago
Jacksen admitted such criteria are not easy for early-age players to meet. But he sees that many MilkLife Soccer Challenge participants have shown that quality during the tournament. Given the potential the players have, he is optimistic he can build a team that is competitive, attractive and ready to face representatives of other countries at Singa Cup 2026.

The MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) All-Stars 2026 gave the Banjarmasin girls’ team, who went out in the group stage, valuable lessons, while Kudus kept the title; 34 players will go to SingaCup 2026 in Singapore.
Banjarmasin, BARITOPOST.CO.ID – The MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) All-Stars 2026 gave the Banjarmasin girls’ team, who were knocked out in the group stage, valuable lessons. Kudus successfully defended the title, beating Jakarta in a 4-3 penalty shoot-out in the final at Supersoccer Arena, Kudus, on 28 June.

The two teams drew 0-0 through normal time. All-Stars Kudus were calmer and sealed a 4-3 win on penalties to lift the trophy again.
The All-Stars Banjarmasin girls, meanwhile, suffered three straight defeats in Group B of the group stage: 0-8 against Yogyakarta, 0-6 against Solo, and finally 0-11 against Semarang.
PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir praised the staging of the MLSC as a platform for developing women’s football in Indonesia. In his view, the competition is an important part of realising PSSI’s target towards the 2035 Women’s World Cup.
PSSI has prepared a 10-year blueprint towards the 2035 Women’s World Cup. Now, we are not only talking about plans but have moved through programmes and competitions like the MLSC. This progress can only be achieved through collaboration between the government, the private sector, communities, schools and parents.
Erick Thohir
MLSC Program Director Teddy Tjahjono judged that competition between participants is becoming more even. In his view, the players’ improvement is proof that grassroots women’s football development is moving in a positive direction. He said next season the MLSC will be widened with three more cities: Jayapura, Garut, and Jakarta split into two regions, East Jakarta and North Jakarta.
As part of continuing development, Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and MilkLife will send the 34 best MLSC All-Stars 2026 players to SingaCup 2026 in Singapore from 31 October to 7 November. Business Unit Head Dairy at PT Global Dairi Alami, Didiet Fadriana Abdulkadir, praised the fighting spirit of all participants, who showed significant progress in technique, match mentality and sportsmanship.

Sabrina, the daughter of an ice-cream seller in Pati, has made her dream come true: named best player of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) All Stars 2026, the elegant midfielder will join an elite team to represent Indonesia at the Singa Cup in Singapore in November.
By Ahmad Effendi | Editor: Muchamad Aly Reza

Every afternoon after cycling around schools selling sliced ice cream, Sabat Aristyono faces one routine he cannot refuse. In the yard of their home in Pati, his daughter Sabrina Dwi Ristiyana is already standing waiting, a ball at her feet.
At home, my child does nothing but play football.
Sabat, speaking to Mojok after the MLSC All Stars final at Super Soccer Arena on Sunday (28/6/2026)
Sabat, honestly, knows nothing about football tactics. He is not a footballer, nor a casual viewer who knows today’s players. But he refuses to give up. He plays along with his daughter, swapping passes, dribbling past each other and laughing together as they fight for the ball.
For Sabat, this routine was never meant as extra training to make his child technically skilled. The sweat in the yard is his language of love as a father, making up for the time spent on the road.
What he never imagined is that this simple dribbling duel would one day carry his little girl to cutting off opposition attacks in a national final, to winning a prestigious individual title, and to packing a suitcase for Singapore.
Falling in love with football through Ronaldo TikTok videos
Sabrina’s love of the pitch was not forced on her by her parents. It all began on a phone screen. When she was just eight, most girls might be more familiar with dolls or play-cooking. Sabrina chose a very different path. She regularly scrolled TikTok videos of Cristiano Ronaldo goal compilations.
I just like watching Ronaldo. I like watching his videos from when he was still at Madrid.
Sabrina
The admiration that began on TikTok spread into the real world. Sabrina started playing football with boys on the village field. In the living room at home, she often shows off Ronaldo’s iconic “Siuuu” celebration to her mum and dad.
Worried about their daughter playing football
At first, Sabat and his wife were very worried. They let Sabrina play anything with her friends, as long as it involved little physical contact. Football is clearly on the list of rough sports. Clashing legs with boys on a dirt pitch risks injuries to her small body.
Honestly, I never forbade my child from playing anything. The important thing is to play safe things. But with football there are often collisions, mister.
Sabat
But the worry eventually collapsed. Sabat saw that his daughter’s passion was too great to extinguish. He realised one important thing: restricting a child who is discovering her greatest desire could kill that child’s character. Permission was given. Sabrina was allowed to play, was fully supported, and the yard of their home officially became a private training ground every morning or afternoon.
The young midfielder proves herself at MLSC All Stars
The parents’ blessing paid off in full. Sabrina proved she has talent beyond her peers. At primary-school level, she regularly represented SDN Jambean 02 Pati in various inter-school tournaments. Her development curve shot upwards, peaking when she made it through the tough selection into the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) All-Stars Kudus squad from 2025.

In this elite regional squad her game was transformed. Inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo, Sabrina at first aspired to be a goal-hungry striker. The tactical reality on the pitch said otherwise. The coaches saw her outstanding intelligence in reading space and placed her as a defensive midfielder, a role that often forced her to drop back and operate as a defender.
Playing in defence did not turn Sabrina into a rough butcher. If anything, she is an anomaly. Her style is very calm. She refuses to hoof the ball away when pressed by opponents. Sabrina says she loves the moment of taking control: holding the ball for a moment, using a light dribble to get past a marker, then releasing a line-splitting pass to the front line.
That elegant style reminded the author of Pedri or Rodri, two Spanish midfield maestros who make composure their deadliest weapon. Sabrina’s job is to set the tempo. She is the metronome that decides when Kudus must run all-out to attack and when the team must close ranks to withstand the onslaught.
Letting a child go to Singapore after being MLSC All Stars MVP
Sabrina’s mental toughness met its real test at the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) All-Stars 2026. This is no ordinary grassroots competition. Held at Super Soccer Arena from 23 to 28 June 2026, the MLSC is a real manifestation of a national-level girls’ football development ecosystem. The huge tournament brought together 12 teams representing 12 cities, with hundreds of young talents rigorously screened from the regional level.
On this big stage Sabrina shone brightest. She helped lead All-Stars Kudus to stand tall in the final. Her sharpness in reading the opposition’s attacking direction, backed by composure in executing decisions at crucial moments, earned her the highest individual award. At the end of the tournament Sabrina Dwi Ristiyana was officially named Best Player of the MLSC All-Stars 2026.

That achievement had a domino effect. Sabrina’s name automatically went into the elite MilkLife Strikers Girls U-12 list designed by MLSC Head Coach Jacksen F. Tiago. In November, this elegant defender from Pati will be sent to represent Indonesia in the international SingaCup in Singapore.
For Sabat Aristyono, the news set off two emotions colliding. As a father used to swapping passes in the yard every afternoon, there is a heaviness in letting his little girl cross the ocean. But as the man who was the first witness to the “Siuuu” celebration in the living room years ago, he realises the time has come.
There is fear, mister. Because it’s letting a small girl go abroad. But for her future, I just trust the coach. This must be the best.
Sabat
Let the father be the ice-cream seller, and the daughter must become a footballer.
Sabat, concluding

This season we saw very positive development. That gives us the confidence to widen the reach of our development by adding three host cities starting next season.
Teddy Tjahjono
MLSC Head Coach Jacksen F. Tiago said the talent scouting during MLSC focused not only on individual talent but also on understanding of the game and decision-making on the pitch.
The assessment criteria may be quite complex for primary school-age players, but through MLSC they were able to show it. Seeing their performance on the pitch, we are optimistic about building a competitive team that can compete.
Jacksen F. Tiago, the former Persipura Jayapura coach

All-Stars Surabaya held on to third place at the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2026, and six of their players were selected for the squad that will represent Indonesia at Singa Cup 2026 in Singapore.
JawaPos.com – All-Stars Surabaya achieved a proud result at the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) All-Stars 2026. As well as keeping third place, six players from the City of Heroes were selected for the squad that will represent Indonesia at Singa Cup 2026 in Singapore.

The announcement came after the MLSC All-Stars 2026 finals at Supersoccer Arena, Kudus, on Sunday (28/6). The six Surabaya players who made the cut are Locita Waranggani, Emily Azzahra, Bilqis Hidayah and Jesshica in the 12-year-old category, and Syafira Azzahra and Alika Jabbar in the 14-year-old group.
That is the most of any participating city. It also rounds off an impressive tournament for Surabaya, who finished third after beating All-Stars Yogyakarta 1-0.
All-Stars Surabaya coach Sai Dong said his players breaking into Singa Cup shows the steady improvement in their quality through MLSC.
Their play is already very good, both in technique and teamwork. Their foot-to-foot passing has also developed well. So many players getting through to Singa Cup is certainly a proud achievement.
Sai Dong
According to Sai Dong, the team’s results should be measured not just by wins or final positions, but by how the players are beginning to understand the right concept of football.
It’s not that I don’t want to win. But at this age the most important thing is the process. We want the children to play from the back, not just send long balls. If they can play with the right concept, then wins and goals are only a bonus of that process.
Sai Dong
He added that MLSC All-Stars is an important platform for shaping the character and playing intelligence of young female footballers.
Indonesian players have often relied only on physical strength. We want the children to learn to play with their brains, understand space and read the game. That is what we keep instilling.
Sai Dong
Overall, MLSC All-Stars 2026 was competitive from the group stage to the final. All-Stars Kudus retained the title by beating All-Stars Jakarta 4-3 on penalties after a goalless draw in normal time.
PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir praised the staging of MLSC, which he sees as an important part of building the foundations of Indonesian girls’ football.

All-Stars Kudus again proved their dominance at the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2026, while 34 of the tournament’s best players will be sent to SingaCup 2026 in Singapore.
VIVA – All-Stars Kudus once again showed their dominance at the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2026. The team from the “Clove Cigarette City” successfully defended their title after beating All-Stars Jakarta in a tense penalty shoot-out.

The final, held at Supersoccer Arena in Kudus, Central Java, on Saturday 28 June 2026, was a fierce contest. The two teams were goalless in normal time before All-Stars Kudus secured a 4-3 win on penalties. All-Stars Surabaya took third place after narrowly beating All-Stars Yogyakarta 1-0.
The successful staging of the MLSC All-Stars was praised by PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir, who said the tournament is an important part of building the foundations of Indonesian women’s football. Erick stressed that PSSI has prepared a long-term roadmap to bring the Indonesian women’s national team to the 2035 Women’s World Cup, and that youth development through competitions such as MLSC is a real step towards that target.
Teddy Tjahjono, Program Director of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge, also saw very positive progress this season. Competition between teams is increasingly even, the quality of play has risen, and more young players are taking up football seriously.
Given the growing enthusiasm, the organisers have decided to widen the competition next season by adding three new cities, namely Jayapura, Garut and (by dividing Jakarta into two regions) East Jakarta and North Jakarta.
International experience in Singapore
The best players will not stop at national level; they will also gain international experience. A total of 34 players selected from the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2026 will be sent to SingaCup 2026, held in Singapore from 31 October to 7 November.
