The MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) All-Stars 2026 gave the Banjarmasin girls’ team, who went out in the group stage, valuable lessons, while Kudus kept the title; 34 players will go to SingaCup 2026 in Singapore.

Banjarmasin, BARITOPOST.CO.ID – The MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) All-Stars 2026 gave the Banjarmasin girls’ team, who were knocked out in the group stage, valuable lessons. Kudus successfully defended the title, beating Jakarta in a 4-3 penalty shoot-out in the final at Supersoccer Arena, Kudus, on 28 June.

The two teams drew 0-0 through normal time. All-Stars Kudus were calmer and sealed a 4-3 win on penalties to lift the trophy again.

The All-Stars Banjarmasin girls, meanwhile, suffered three straight defeats in Group B of the group stage: 0-8 against Yogyakarta, 0-6 against Solo, and finally 0-11 against Semarang.

PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir praised the staging of the MLSC as a platform for developing women’s football in Indonesia. In his view, the competition is an important part of realising PSSI’s target towards the 2035 Women’s World Cup.

PSSI has prepared a 10-year blueprint towards the 2035 Women’s World Cup. Now, we are not only talking about plans but have moved through programmes and competitions like the MLSC. This progress can only be achieved through collaboration between the government, the private sector, communities, schools and parents.

MLSC Program Director Teddy Tjahjono judged that competition between participants is becoming more even. In his view, the players’ improvement is proof that grassroots women’s football development is moving in a positive direction. He said next season the MLSC will be widened with three more cities: Jayapura, Garut, and Jakarta split into two regions, East Jakarta and North Jakarta.

As part of continuing development, Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and MilkLife will send the 34 best MLSC All-Stars 2026 players to SingaCup 2026 in Singapore from 31 October to 7 November. Teddy explained that the selected players will be split into two teams based on the scouting team’s findings. He hopes taking part in SingaCup will improve their technical ability, match mentality and international experience as part of the regeneration of Indonesia’s women’s national team.

Business Unit Head Dairy at PT Global Dairi Alami, Didiet Fadriana Abdulkadir, praised the fighting spirit of all participants, who showed significant progress in technique, match mentality and sportsmanship.

The MLSC is part of the company’s commitment to supporting women’s football development, as well as realising Indonesia’s Golden Generation 2045 through support for sport and good nutrition.
