Singapore lies in the center of the South East Asia, had always been the center of commerce. And as Singapore moves towards being a sports hub of the region, facilities and mentality in the island state had been gradually moving inline with this vision.

Singa Cup, hosted in Singapore is part of this movement. This gradually improvement in the “little red dot” is evident, as Australia Football West Tour Director, Rod Bentley, and Loyola Meralco Sparks’ Coaching Director, Nenita Burgess, cited Singapore’s excellent playing facilities and the appropriate international football exposure as the main reasons why their teams were here for SingaCup.
