A thrilling opening day to the first ever Singa Cup – Schools International Challenge, as Bendemeer Secondary School pipped Queensway Secondary School 3-2 at Bendemeer Secondary School Football Field.
Queensway started the game to a bright start as they score an early goal in the 6th min to take the lead. Bendemeer hit backed with a brace on the 12th min and then 6 min later to make a dramatic comeback. The 1st half draw to a close with Bendemeer Secondary School leading at the break.
Queensway started their 2nd half with yet another great start, as they scored the equaliser just 7 mins after the restart. However Bendemeer reacted quickly to snatch the lead just 3mins after.
The game continued on without anymore goals and ended with a morale boosting win 3-2 for Bendemeer Secondary School over local rivals, Queensway Secondary School.
