SINGAPORE, KAIDAH.ID – Palu Selection, the Central Sulawesi Football Team again showed a brilliant performance in the 2025 SingaCup. After silencing Australia 8-1 in the opening match, Palu Selection now hit India with a striking score of 13-0 at the Arena Stadium, Singapore, Monday afternoon, November 4, 2025 afternoon.
This big victory is the second consecutive victory for the young team from Central Sulawesi who represented Indonesia in the international event. The fast and disciplined game of the Palu Selection children made the opposing team unable to develop the game from the first half.
The talented young player, Marco, performed exceptionally by scoring five goals at once. Meanwhile, Azril contributed four goals. Alfa scored two goals, and ojan and Maman each added one goal.
Team official, Gamal Hakim expressed his gratitude and pride for the extraordinary victory.
“Alhamdulillah, the children played with high enthusiasm and confidence. This victory is the result of teamwork and hard training so far. They prove that regional children can also compete at the international level,” said Gamal.
According to Gamal, the moral support from the Deputy Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia, AM Akbar Supratman, who was also present to watch the inaugural match, also added great motivation for the players.
“Mr. Akbar gives positive energy to the team. Children feel cared for and are more excited to show their best abilities,” she added.
With two big wins on the first day, Palu Selection asserted itself as one of the strong teams in the 2025 SingaCup. The team will next play its third match against Malaysia and the host on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the same stadium.

JAKARTA, LIGHTHOUSE – Fadlun A Hamid, one of the coaches of early childhood football in Palu City, admitted that he was proud of the achievement of SSB Palu Selection which will represent Indonesia in the 2025 SingaCup international event in Singapore.
“Maybe people are surprised, because I’m a woman, but I’m a football fan. I am proud to see the achievements of the 14-year-old Palu Selection children. This means that football is loved by everyone in the world, regardless of age or gender,” Fadlun told reporters in Jakarta, Sunday (2/11/2025).
Fadlun A Hamid, who is the coach of SSB Palu Selection, revealed that his fostered team had previously undergone a trial match against MFRI Jakarta and managed to win 2-0, even though they did not field three core players.
“The children are in good health. We always pay attention to their health and stamina because this is the first experience of children from Central Sulawesi representing Indonesia at the international level,” he explained.
Fadlun hopes that football coaching at the school level will continue and get serious attention from the local government.
“It doesn’t mean that after this (the SingaCup) stops. Coaching must continue so that in the future we can return to play against teams from other countries,” he said.
Regarding early childhood football coaching, Fadlun hopes that there will be a special football school of all age levels.
He also expressed his appreciation to the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government for providing support and releasing the team’s departure to Jakarta through Deputy Governor Reny A. Lamadjido.
“We are very grateful for the support of the local government, especially the Deputy Governor who also released our departure, including I would like to thank Mr. Akbar Kaka in the black shirt who also fully supports SSB Palu Selection,” he concluded.

The young team from Central Sulawesi stole the spotlight after winning two big victories, 8-1 over Australia and 13-0 over India, respectively.
This appreciation was conveyed by Erick Thohir, who is also the Minister of Youth and Sports, in his personal conversation with the Deputy Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia, Abcandra Mohammad Akbar Supratman, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 afternoon. In the conversation, Erick expressed his pride in the struggle of the Palu Selection children who succeeded in making Indonesia proud in the international arena.
“I really appreciate their struggle. This is clear evidence that early childhood coaching in the region is going well and needs to be supported,” said Erick in a conversation delivered by Akbar after the match.
Erick also promised to meet directly with the Palu Selection Team after they returned from Singapore. “I want to meet the children directly. They deserve special attention because they have shown extraordinary fighting spirit,” he said.
Deputy Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia, Akbar Supratman, who witnessed the two victorious matches of the Palu Selection team in Singapore, welcomed the attention of the Chairman of PSSI.
“Alhamdulillah, Mr. Erick’s attention is good news for the children. This is a form of moral support that is very meaningful for the future of football in Central Sulawesi and Indonesia,” said Akbar.
Meanwhile, team official Gamal Hakim expressed his gratitude for the attention and appreciation that came from various parties. “The children are getting more motivated. This is a valuable experience that they will bring along their career journey,” said Gamal.

Bali United Academy participated in the International Youth Football Tournament, SingaCup 2025 in Singapore.
The international tournament took place from Saturday (1/11) to Tuesday (4/11) afternoon for the age category included this year.
In this event, children from Bali United Academy went down in three age groups, namely BU Academy U-8, BU Academy U-10 and BU Academy U-12.
BU Academy U-12 successfully reached the final and grabbed the runner-up position in the 2025 SingaCup after losing 2 goals to Negeri Sembilan FC.
Head coach of Bali United Academy U12, I Wayan Agus Wira Senjaya said that this achievement was not only a matter of results but a process of development.
“Being the runner-up is not only about the results but about the development process that occurs throughout this tournament. As a coach, I am proud of the struggle of the players who are disciplined, have a fighting spirit, cooperation and respect for international opponents. This is certainly a provision and capital for them to further develop,” said Coach Agus.
While no less proud, BU Academy U-8 managed to qualify for the last 8 and BU Academy U-10 qualified for the round of 16.
Even though the runner-up status was only won in the U12 category, at least the players from Bali United Academy have valuable experience at the international level.
According to the coach from Gianyar, the initial foundation must continue to be formed in order to develop the talents of young players who are currently in the process with Bali United Academy.
“This achievement is certainly a great motivation for the entire Bali United Academy family. I as one of the coaching team here (BU Academy) hope to continue to strengthen the youth coaching program because we believe the initial foundation is at a young age to become a great player in the future,” explained Coach Agus.
The coach, who has just won the football championship trophy at the 2025 Bali Porprov, also explained that in the future the Bali United Academy program will follow the philosophy of modern football.
“In the future, together with Bali United Academy, in addition to improving the quality of coaches, we will also focus on developing modern training methods, as well as increasing opportunities for players to perform at the national and international levels. So that later there will be many players who have character, sportsmanship and high fighting spirit born from Bi United Academy,” explained the AFC C licensed coach.

KBRN, Bandar Lampung: The Indonesian student football team took part in the event SingaCup 2025 or Singapore International Youth Cup, Boys U16 which took place, November 1–8, 2025 at Bedok Stadium, Singapore.
This prestigious competition at the international student level was attended by young teams from various countries such as Australia, India, Pakistan, Thailand, and the host Singapore.
Indonesia sent 18 of the best young players, under the care of the head coach, Sapran Oktari AIFO-P and manager Wiwik Juwita Sari. Interestingly, several players from Lampung also strengthened the young Garuda squad, namely Setya Bagus Zaelani and Muhammad Risqi Yusuf from SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung, Abian Sanjaya Ramadhani (SMP Lentera Harapan Banjar Agung, Tulang Bawang), and Muhammad Raffa Arsa Ganie from SMAN 2 Bandar Lampung.

The Lampung talent, entering the Garuda Muda team was also strengthened by Muhammad Daffa An Nabiha (RB, SMAN 1 Babakan Cirebon), M. Sendy Saputra (CB, SMAN 1 Sekayu), Agasi Yaris Ramadhan (ADM/CMF, SMPN 6 Darangdan Purwakarta), Faizal Awaludin Saputra (CB, SMP PGRI 385 Puteran Bandung Barat), M. Coach Sapran Oktari explained that participation in the SingaCup is a valuable opportunity for young Indonesian players to gain international experience and strengthen their competitive mentality.
“We bring the spirit of young Garuda. Our target is not only to win, but also to show the character and discipline of Indonesian players at the world level,” he said via WhatsApp, Monday (3/11/2025).
He hopes that the 2025 SingaCup Tournament will be a proving ground for young players, including talents from Lampung, to continue to develop their potential and excel in the international football arena.

JAKARTA, KAIDAH.ID – Deputy Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia, AM Akbar Supratman, on Saturday, November 1, 2025 night, visited the Palu U-13 Football Team which will represent Indonesia at the 2025 SingaCup in Singapore, as well as handed over assistance worth IDR 100 million.
During the visit, Akbar Supratman, who was accompanied by Special Staff Nizar Rahmatu, was received directly by the team official, Gamal Hakim.
On that occasion, Akbar expressed his pride in the struggle of young people in Central Sulawesi who were able to penetrate international tournaments. “These children carry the good name of the region and the nation. I want them to leave with enthusiasm and belief that they can compete with teams from other countries,” Akbar hoped.
The Palu Selection U-13 team is scheduled to leave for Singapore on Monday, November 3, 2025. They will start the first match at the Arena Stadium, Singapore, on Monday, November 4, 2025 at 08.00 local time against Australia, and continue the second match at 11.00 against India.
On Tuesday, November 5, 2025, Palu Selection will return to the field for the next two matches: at 08.00 against Malaysia and at 10.00 against Singapore, still at the same venue.
Akbar, who is also a member of the DPD RI Dapil Central Sulawesi, also said that he would be present to watch the first match of the Palu Selection team.
“I want to encourage them on the field. This is not just a match, but a symbol of the spirit of regional children who dare to challenge the world,” he said.
