Bali United Academy participated in the International Youth Football Tournament, SingaCup 2025 in Singapore.

The international tournament took place from Saturday (1/11) to Tuesday (4/11) afternoon for the age category included this year.

In this event, children from Bali United Academy went down in three age groups, namely BU Academy U-8, BU Academy U-10 and BU Academy U-12.

BU Academy U-12 successfully reached the final and grabbed the runner-up position in the 2025 SingaCup after losing 2 goals to Negeri Sembilan FC.

Head coach of Bali United Academy U12, I Wayan Agus Wira Senjaya said that this achievement was not only a matter of results but a process of development.

“Being the runner-up is not only about the results but about the development process that occurs throughout this tournament. As a coach, I am proud of the struggle of the players who are disciplined, have a fighting spirit, cooperation and respect for international opponents. This is certainly a provision and capital for them to further develop,” said Coach Agus.

While no less proud, BU Academy U-8 managed to qualify for the last 8 and BU Academy U-10 qualified for the round of 16.

Even though the runner-up status was only won in the U12 category, at least the players from Bali United Academy have valuable experience at the international level.

According to the coach from Gianyar, the initial foundation must continue to be formed in order to develop the talents of young players who are currently in the process with Bali United Academy.

“This achievement is certainly a great motivation for the entire Bali United Academy family. I as one of the coaching team here (BU Academy) hope to continue to strengthen the youth coaching program because we believe the initial foundation is at a young age to become a great player in the future,” explained Coach Agus.

The coach, who has just won the football championship trophy at the 2025 Bali Porprov, also explained that in the future the Bali United Academy program will follow the philosophy of modern football.

“In the future, together with Bali United Academy, in addition to improving the quality of coaches, we will also focus on developing modern training methods, as well as increasing opportunities for players to perform at the national and international levels. So that later there will be many players who have character, sportsmanship and high fighting spirit born from Bi United Academy,” explained the AFC C licensed coach.
