KBRN, Bandar Lampung: The Indonesian student football team took part in the event SingaCup 2025 or Singapore International Youth Cup, Boys U16 which took place, November 1–8, 2025 at Bedok Stadium, Singapore.

This prestigious competition at the international student level was attended by young teams from various countries such as Australia, India, Pakistan, Thailand, and the host Singapore.

Indonesia sent 18 of the best young players, under the care of the head coach, Sapran Oktari AIFO-P and manager Wiwik Juwita Sari. Interestingly, several players from Lampung also strengthened the young Garuda squad, namely Setya Bagus Zaelani and Muhammad Risqi Yusuf from SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung, Abian Sanjaya Ramadhani (SMP Lentera Harapan Banjar Agung, Tulang Bawang), and Muhammad Raffa Arsa Ganie from SMAN 2 Bandar Lampung.

The Lampung talent, entering the Garuda Muda team was also strengthened by Muhammad Daffa An Nabiha (RB, SMAN 1 Babakan Cirebon), M. Sendy Saputra (CB, SMAN 1 Sekayu), Agasi Yaris Ramadhan (ADM/CMF, SMPN 6 Darangdan Purwakarta), Faizal Awaludin Saputra (CB, SMP PGRI 385 Puteran Bandung Barat), M. Akbar Julianto (RW/LW, SMK Takwa Belitang), Nofan Putra Utama (RW/ST/LW, SMPN 1 Susukan Cirebon), Airlangga Lodayana Nurzaman (RW/LW/ST, SMPIT Insantama Banjar), Rizki Denis Pratama (LW/RW, SMA 1 Sekayu), Muh Fadillah Jayadi (DMF, SMANKO South Sulawesi), Danu Prananda (CM/CDM/AMF, SMAN 5 Sekayu), Selmaidiva Nasuha Sandra (LW/RW, SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Lilin), Fathir Fadillah Rahman (CMF/AMF/CM, SMA Negeri 1 Sekayu), Bahri Alkhaidir (RB/CB, SMANKO South Sulawesi), and Ridho Nur Oktaviano (CB/CDM, SMP Permata Insani Islamic School).

In the Boys U16 category, Garuda Muda Indonesia entered Group B with Ashdale (Australia), Jurongville Secondary (Singapore), and Thane City FC (India).

Coach Sapran Oktari explained that participation in the SingaCup is a valuable opportunity for young Indonesian players to gain international experience and strengthen their competitive mentality.

“We bring the spirit of young Garuda. Our target is not only to win, but also to show the character and discipline of Indonesian players at the world level,” he said via WhatsApp, Monday (3/11/2025).

He hopes that the 2025 SingaCup Tournament will be a proving ground for young players, including talents from Lampung, to continue to develop their potential and excel in the international football arena.
