MLSC Announces U12 and U14 Squads for SingaCup 2026, Ready to Compete in Singapore - Merdeka.com - screenshot of article on Merdeka.com

MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) has officially announced the U12 and U14 players who will represent Indonesia at SingaCup 2026. Which young talents were selected to show their skills in Singapore?

Kudus, Central Java – MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) has officially announced the list of players who will represent Indonesia at the prestigious SingaCup 2026. The announcement covers the U12 and U14 squads, who are ready to compete in Singapore in October-November.

MLSC head coach Jacksen Ferreira Tiago, together with Tino Scheunemann, led the rigorous selection process. They said the players were chosen on the strength of their outstanding performances and long-term potential shown during the MLSC All-Stars 2026 tournament.

The squad announcement for SingaCup 2026 took place at Supersoccer Arena in Kudus, Central Java, coinciding with the closing of the MLSC All-Stars 2026 tournament on Sunday, 28 June. In total, 16 U12 players and 18 U14 players were chosen from cities across Indonesia.

A rigorous selection process

Jacksen Ferreira Tiago explained that the talent-scouting process for the SingaCup 2026 squad gave heavy weight to long-term aspects. The coaches did not look only at momentary performances, but also at the players’ potential for growth and development.

The players’ potential, Jacksen continued, can be measured in part by their ability to make decisions when under pressure in a match. This aspect is a vital indicator of a young athlete’s mentality and playing intelligence in competitive situations.

As an example, Jacksen singled out Sabrina Ristiyana of All-Stars Kudus, who was named best player of MLSC All-Stars 2026.

Maybe other people see that she didn’t score or anything, but she is very dominant and her error rate throughout the tournament is minimal.

Jacksen Tiago

Sabrina also carried out the job of final penalty taker in the final’s shoot-out, taking her team past Jakarta, which completed her performance over the tournament. This shows that a player’s potential is not always measured by the number of goals, but by overall contribution and the ability to make a difference at crucial moments.

The players selected for SingaCup 2026

The selected players come from the participating teams of MLSC All-Stars 2026, including the All-Stars teams of Semarang, Tangerang, Yogyakarta, Bandung, Solo, Jakarta, Surabaya, Bekasi, Kudus, Malang, Samarinda and Banjarmasin. They are the best talents, ready to do Indonesia proud on the international stage.

MilkLife Soccer Challenge All Stars 2026 Concludes, 34 Selected Players to Compete at Singa Cup - Bola.com - screenshot of article on Bola.com

The MilkLife Soccer Challenge All Stars 2026 was not just a competition to find a champion among 12 teams; it was also the moment for Jacksen F. Tiago and Timo Scheunemann to choose the 34 players who will play at Singa Cup 2026.

Bola.com, Kudus – MilkLife Soccer Challenge All Stars 2026 is more than a competition to find a champion from the 12 competing teams. It is also the moment for Jacksen F. Tiago and Timo Scheunemann to choose the 34 players who will play at Singa Cup 2026.

The MilkLife Soccer Challenge All Stars 2026 produced All Stars Kudus as champions. The side coached by Yayat Hidayat lifted the trophy for the second year running, having also won the 2025 edition.

Besides Kudus beating Jakarta on penalties in the final, the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All Stars, initiated by Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation together with MilkLife, also announced the 34 players who will play at Singa Cup 2026.

MilkLife Soccer Challenge Head Coach Jacksen F. Tiago said the talent-scouting process focuses not only on individual talent but also on understanding of the game and decision-making on the pitch. Although still at primary-school level, the players were able to play with confidence and show maturity beyond their age group, which he said is an important foundation for building a team to compete internationally.

We are looking for players with potential in football intelligence. They must be able to adapt quickly to changes in the pattern of play, play effectively, be able to control the tempo of the game and be dynamic.

Jacksen F. Tiago

The assessment criteria may be quite complex for primary school-age players, but through the MilkLife Soccer Challenge they were able to show it.

Jacksen F. Tiago

Seeing their performance on the pitch, we are optimistic about building a team that is competitive, attractive and able to compete with other countries.

Jacksen F. Tiago

Jacksen F. Tiago will lead the Strikers U-12 team at Singa Cup 2026, choosing and announcing the 16 players who will be his charges. Coach Timo Scheunemann will lead the Kickers U-14 team, with the 18 players he will take to Singapore at the end of October.

34 players from 11 different cities

All Stars Kudus, champions of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All Stars 2026, have 7 representatives flying to Singa Cup: two in the U-12 team and five in the U-14 team.

Runners-up Jakarta are sending 5 players to Singa Cup, one in the U-12 team and four in the U-14 team. Third-placed Surabaya are sending 6 players, four of them in the U-12 team and two in the U-14 team. The other 16 players come from Malang, Yogyakarta, Solo, Semarang, Samarinda, Tangerang, Bekasi and Bandung.

After returning from Kudus, the 34 players will wait until they can gather again and prepare to compete at Singa Cup 2026.

MLSC Announces SingaCup 2026 Squad - Sudutpandang.id - screenshot of article on Sudutpandang.id

The MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) has officially announced the U-12 and U-14 players who will represent Indonesia at SingaCup 2026 in Singapore.

KUDUS, 28 June 2026 – The announcement was made after the closing of the MLSC All-Stars 2026 tournament at Supersoccer Arena, Kudus, Central Java, on Sunday.

The squad was chosen directly by MLSC Head Coach Jacksen Ferreira Tiago together with Timo Scheunemann, based on the players’ performances throughout the tournament and their potential to develop at a higher level. Sixteen players were called up for the U-12 team and 18 for the U-14 team. They come from the cities that took part in MLSC All-Stars 2026, among them Kudus, Jakarta, Surabaya, Semarang, Solo, Tangerang, Yogyakarta, Bandung, Bekasi, Malang, Samarinda and Banjarmasin.

Jacksen said the selection did not focus only on match performance but also weighed each player’s long-term prospects.

We chose these players after seeing their performance in the tournament and also their potential.

Jacksen Ferreira Tiago, at the press conference after the squad announcement

The coaching team assessed not only technical ability but also playing character, the ability to read the game, and how players take decisions under pressure. Jacksen regards the mental aspect as an important indicator of who deserves to represent Indonesia in international competition.

Potential can be seen when players are able to make the right decision in difficult situations during a match. That is one of our main assessments.

Jacksen Ferreira Tiago

As an example, he pointed to Kudus player Sabrina Dwi Ristiyana, named best player of MLSC All-Stars 2026. Her performance, he said, cannot be measured only by the goals she scored. The defender did not get on the scoresheet in the final, but was dominant throughout the match and highly consistent through the tournament.

Maybe other people see that she did not score, but she is very dominant and her error rate throughout the tournament was minimal.

Jacksen Ferreira Tiago

Sabrina also showed remarkable composure when entrusted with the last kick in the final’s penalty shoot-out against Jakarta; her successful penalty ensured Kudus retained the MLSC All-Stars 2026 title. For Jacksen, taking responsibility at a crucial moment shows she has the mental quality needed to compete at international level.

Taking part in SingaCup 2026 is expected to be a valuable experience for the young Indonesian players. The international tournament brings together football academies from several countries, giving the players a chance to measure themselves and gain more experience.

MLSC itself is a girls’ football development programme initiated by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation, designed to produce young Indonesian talent through tiered competition from an early age.

MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director Teddy Tjahjono said the players’ quality rose in this edition, and that development has been very rapid. Teddy explained that the grassroots development programme will continue to U15 and U18, so that the women’s football development ecosystem is increasingly formed.

The quality of play of the teams that played here has developed very rapidly. This is a good sign for the development of women’s football in Indonesia.

Teddy Tjahjono, Sunday (28/6)

So that when they play international teams from other countries, their confidence is good. On the other hand, it is for the development of their game, both technically and mentally.

Teddy Tjahjono

Talent Scouting for MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2026, Jacksen F Tiago, explained why he chose Sabrina as best player.

She has the potential to make some difficult decisions and under pressure. Maybe people look at whether she scored goals or anything. But she was very dominant in the game and her error rate in the competition, from the first day to the last day, was very, very minimal.

Jacksen F Tiago

Sabrina decided the win for All-Stars Kudus in the penalty shoot-out, which made Jacksen feel she deserved the best player title.

One beautiful story is that the last kick to decide the champion for Kudus was at her feet. So you could say Sabrina’s story as best player in this edition is perfect.

Jacksen F Tiago

Jacksen is optimistic his charges can give their best at SingaCup, and says he has big hopes for them.

Extremely optimistic and in fact I think we have very big hopes. Amen, God willing.

Jacksen F Tiago

All-Stars Kudus player Sabrina Dwi Ristiyana, who also won best player of MLSC All-Stars 2026, said she was happy to be selected for Singa Cup 2026, especially as it will be her first championship at the international level.

Of course I’m happy to be selected for Singa Cup. This is my first time going abroad.

Sabrina, Sunday (28/6)

She wants to make her parents happy by competing at Singa Cup, though she had at one point doubted she would be chosen.

My target is to make my parents happy. Thank you to everyone who has fought hard. Thank you to my parents who prayed for me.

Sabrina, who idolises Cristiano Ronaldo

At the MLSC All-Stars 2026, All-Stars Kudus emerged as champions, ensuring Yayat Hidayat’s side won back-to-back titles. All-Stars Jakarta finished second. In the earlier third-place match between All-Stars Yogyakarta and All-Stars Surabaya, Surabaya won 1-0, with Agnia Nurul Fadhila Rohman of All-Stars Surabaya scoring the only goal. All-Stars Yogyakarta take fourth place at the MLSC Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2026.

A string of names decorate the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2026 top-scorer title. Interestingly, the MLSC All-Stars top scorer is not a single name but six players, all with four goals. The best player award went to Sabrina Dwi Ristiyana of All-Stars Kudus, and the best goalkeeper award to Syafira Azzahra of All-Stars Surabaya.

Two Solo MLSC Players Strengthen Indonesia U-12 Team at Singa Cup 2026 - Espos.id - screenshot of article on Espos.id

Solo’s failure to reach the final of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) All-Stars 2026 has not erased the potential of its young players: striker Ika Wonda and goalkeeper Shafira Azzahra have been picked for Indonesia’s Striker U-12 team at Singa Cup 2026 in Singapore.

ESPOSIN, KUDUS, 28 June 2026 – The selection of the two players shows that the individual quality of girls’ footballers from Soloraya can still compete at a higher level, even though the team could not repeat its achievement as a finalist in the previous edition.

For Ika Wonda, the chance to play at Singa Cup 2026 is motivation to keep improving. The SD Kristen Manahan 2 pupil was in the squad for Singa Cup last year as well. Drawing on that experience, she knows international competition demands greater physical, technical and mental readiness. The SSB Putri Surakarta player says the build of players from other countries is a challenge, so she is determined to raise the quality of her training before leaving for Singapore.

Keep training, keep trying, add skills, and build the mentality. Last year I saw the players there were tall. So I have to train even more to be better prepared.

Ika Wonda, speaking to Espos at Supersoccer Arena, Kudus, Sunday (28/6/2026)

Shafira Azzahra, from SD Djama’atul Ichwan Surakarta, shows the same spirit. She says she is proud to experience her first time as an All-Stars player and to get the chance to play at Singa Cup.

This is the first time I have made the All-Stars and qualified for Singa Cup. The preparation is of course to keep training.

Shafira Azzahra

Besides regular training with SSB Rimba Persada, Shafira uses her free time for extra sessions to develop further.

If I have free time I train again, privately too, extra training so I am better prepared. Hard training, more diligent, no skipping, and sharpening the skills even more.

Shafira Azzahra

Solo All-Stars coach Maya Susmita says the success of her two players in breaking into the Indonesian Striker squad shows that MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars has become a development platform able to produce promising players. Although the team failed to reach the final this year, she says, the players’ individual quality continues to grow.

This season’s failure is not the end of the journey. It is an experience to build a team that is more mature, stronger mentally, and ready to compete again at the next MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars.

Two renowned coaches, Timo Scheunemann and Jacksen F. Tiago, are scouting young talent at the Women’s Soccer Trilogy 2026, involving 12 teams from across Indonesia, to select an elite squad bound for SingaCup 2026.

MALANG POST – Two of the country’s best-known football coaches, Timo Scheunemann and Jacksen F. Tiago, are working together to observe young talent first-hand at the girls’ football championship Women’s Soccer Trilogy 2026 at Supersoccer Arena in Kudus Regency, which has been running in stages since June and continues until August 2026. The development event, run by Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation, involves 12 teams from various Indonesian cities, with the aim of filtering the best talent into an elite squad for the international tournament SingaCup 2026.

The future of Indonesian women’s football no longer looks bleak. The momentum is growing, and the enthusiasm is spreading from city to city.

Just look at what is happening in Kudus Regency.

Two big names in Indonesian coaching, Timo Scheunemann and Jacksen F. Tiago, have suddenly appeared there. They are not on holiday. The two top coaches have a special mission: hunting for the best female footballers of the future.

The stage for that hunt is the Women’s Soccer Trilogy 2026 tournament, a development event designed by Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation.

The venue is a fine one: Supersoccer Arena. The competition runs as a marathon, in stages from June to August.

Timo and Jacksen will watch every movement of the players on the pitch. Their target is concrete: to screen potential players for inclusion in an elite squad. That squad will then receive special training before being flown to the international event, SingaCup 2026.

At a press conference on Monday evening (22/6/2026), the atmosphere was already warm. Jacksen Tiago was seen enthusiastically giving directions to coaches and participants before the competition began.

This year the scale has stepped up. Participation has jumped from eight teams in last year’s edition to 12 teams now. The reach of the development programme is spreading in every direction, with teams from Samarinda, Banjarmasin, Bekasi, Solo, Jakarta, host Kudus and a representative from Malang.

Jacksen’s philosophy on youth football

Before the coaches, Jacksen set out an important thesis on the philosophy of youth football. For Jacksen, the main purpose of a children’s tournament is not just lifting a trophy or finding out who becomes champion. The competition should be treated as a laboratory where children learn, grow and enjoy the process of playing football.

Coaches, Jacksen said, are strictly forbidden from putting excessive psychological pressure on young players. Youth development needs extra patience, with the focus on building a competitive mentality and enriching experience.

Of the 12 teams competing, only one will be champion. But the other 11 teams must also go home with valuable experience.

Jacksen F. Tiago

The coaches’ task is to bring out the best in each child, not burden their minds with a compulsory target of winning. This is the first rung of the ladder, the first step towards finding future national team players.

Jacksen has a big dream that one day the children running on the grass in Kudus will wear a jersey with the Garuda crest on their chest. For Jacksen, winning on the pitch is a small bonus. What matters is the birth of a generation of female footballers with strong character, confidence and readiness to fight in the future.

Good luck and be brave in scoring goals. Enjoy the process.

Jacksen F. Tiago

Defending champions and challengers

As hosts, Kudus naturally carries a moral burden. The All-Star Kudus team arrives at the tournament with its head held high, with the impressive status of defending champions from last season.

Kudus coach Yayan Hidayat is well aware that his team is being targeted by every opponent. The quality of this year’s participants is much more even, and the competition tougher. But Yayan is not intimidated. Playing in front of their home crowd in Kudus is a big source of motivation, and the Kudus children are determined to defend the crown.

The toughest challenge is predicted to come from Solo. Its coach, Maisus Nita, has prepared a revenge strategy. Last season they only finished as runners-up, and that bitter experience is being used as fuel to play with even more fire this year. Maisus has chosen a personal approach so that the fighting spirit of the Solo children is as solid as their defensive wall.

From Kudus, the foundations of women’s football are being poured anew, and properly. (M. Abd. Rachman. Rozzi / Ra Indrata)

The Women’s Soccer Trilogy 2026 is a national and international championship series aimed at strengthening the ecosystem for women’s football in Indonesia.

JAKARTA, 21 June 2026 – Women’s Soccer Trilogy 2026 is about to roll. The three girls’ football tournaments are the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars U-12 (23-28 June), the HYDROPLUS Soccer League All-Stars U-15 & U-18 (5-12 July) and the Srikandi Merdeka Cup U-16 (14-23 August). All are held at Supersoccer Arena, Kudus, Central Java.

The Women’s Soccer Trilogy aims to build a platform for an integrated girls’ football development ecosystem. We want every player to have a complete development pathway, from an early age through competitive tournaments up to the professional level, so that they have a strong foundation for a football career in the future.

Teddy Tjahjono, Program Director of MilkLife Soccer Challenge and HYDROPLUS Soccer League

The Soccer Challenge is the first stage of the pathway. It introduces football to girls in the U-8, U-10 and U-12 age groups through fun tournaments in 12 host cities. Besides play and competition, it also serves as talent identification, finding promising players who receive further coaching through the Soccer Extra Training programme.

The players who show the best development and potential then get the chance to appear at the Soccer Challenge All-Stars, representing their cities. Beyond the national trophy, they will be watched by the talent-scouting team led by Timo Scheunemann and Jacksen F. Tiago, Head Coach of MLSC, to fill the Indonesian squad that will compete at SingaCup 2026.

After getting to know and sharpening their skills at MLSC, young athletes with the interest and talent are steered to join a football school (SSB). At the U-15 and U-18 level, the girls have a platform for competitive play in the Soccer League, held in four regions: Jakarta, Bandung, Kudus and Surabaya. This stage is an important bridge for young female players on the path to a professional career.

The winner and runner-up earn tickets to the national round against teams from the other regions at the Soccer League All-Stars. This is where the formation of the women’s national-team talent pool is made firmer. The scouting team will monitor players with the potential to join the two Indonesian squads for the Srikandi Merdeka Cup, where they will test themselves against six teams from other countries: Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

The Women’s Soccer Trilogy certainly has a positive impact in driving the local economy, especially through MSMEs. Good luck to all competing; we will welcome you warmly with the hospitality and beautiful culture of Kudus Regency.

Bellinda Birton, Deputy Regent of Kudus

The Srikandi Merdeka Cup, presented by Caffino, is an international tournament and also a search for future players of the Indonesia women’s national team. Teams from six other countries will take part: Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

The trilogy was launched in Kudus on Sunday (21/6/2026) at Alun-alun Simpang 7 Kudus. Athletes who will compete at the MLSC All Stars attended the kick-off and paraded around the square while dribbling footballs.

Also present were MilkLife Soccer Challenge and Hydroplus Soccer League Program Director Teddy Tjahjono and the Deputy Regent of Kudus, Bellinda Birton, who marked the start of the three youth girls’ tournaments running from June to August 2026.

Teddy Tjahjono said that women’s football cannot be developed instantly, nor can it depend on a single competition. In his view, a tiered development system and continuous competition are needed, from young athletes up to the elite level, and the Women’s Soccer Trilogy is expected to deliver this.

The Women’s Soccer Trilogy aims to build an integrated platform and ecosystem for developing women’s football. Development starts with MLSC as the introduction, continues to HPSL, where the Indonesia women’s national team will be selected to play in the Srikandi Merdeka Cup.

Besides being known as a city that produces outstanding badminton athletes, we hope Kudus will also become better known as a centre for the development of women’s football in Indonesia.

Bellinda Birton

Holding the Women’s Soccer Trilogy will certainly have a positive impact on the local economy, especially through micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM). Good luck in the competition; we will welcome you with the warm hospitality and the beautiful culture of Kudus Regency.

Chasing Dreams

Girls’ football tournaments held in tiers and on a continuous basis have become an oasis for young athletes in the Muria Raya area chasing their dream of becoming professional footballers.

The Women’s Soccer Trilogy 2026 series is a special motivation for future “srikandi” (heroines) to keep improving their skills.

Queisha Sava Azzalfa from SDUT Bumi Kartini Jepara has seen women’s football grow rapidly. Her experience of playing from the U-12 MilkLife Soccer Challenge to the U-15 Hydroplus Soccer League has let her feel the competition become more intense at every level.

Her strong performances also earned Queisha a place in the Indonesian team at JSSL Singapore 7’s 2025, one of the biggest girls’ football tournaments in Asia. She has also won the Best Goalkeeper award four times at the MilkLife Soccer Challenge.

Women’s football is developing more and more, and more girls are playing. In my opinion every level has its own difficulties. At MLSC we learn basic techniques, but at the Hydroplus Soccer League we play with good technique. I have to work even harder and never give up, because I want to become a professional footballer.

Queisha Sava Azzalfa

Enthusiasm for football also comes from Sabrina Dwi Ristiyana, a pupil at SDN Jambean 02 Pati, who in May won the team title and the U-12 Best Player award at MLSC Kudus Series 2 2025/2026.

Bina, as she is known, is grateful for the chance to develop in football through a series of competitions that progress step by step with her ability.

Thank God I was chosen for the MLSC All-Stars Kudus team, because the competition was very tight. Now I have a lot of match experience. It feels more challenging than playing at primary-school level, and it keeps rising to the next level with the Hydroplus Soccer League.

Sabrina Dwi Ristiyana (Bina)

I cannot wait to watch the Srikandi Merdeka Cup, because it will surely be exciting to learn how to play at national-team level. I will bring my whole family to watch.

Sabrina Dwi Ristiyana (Bina)

One Kudus athlete excited about the Women’s Soccer Trilogy 2026 is Ghaitsa Luffi Arachman, a Year 5 pupil at SD Unggulan Muslimat NU Kudus. The MLSC All-Stars Kudus striker is happy that girls like her now have a platform to keep sharpening their skills through continuous competition.

Ghaitsa has played girls’ football since the U-10 MLSC in 2024, and this year she is able to play at U-15 level.

I am very happy that those of us who love football now have tournaments, so we can have targets. In primary school we play in MLSC, and after that in the Hydroplus Soccer League. With these competitions I also have a clear goal.

Ghaitsa Luffi Arachman

And there will be the Srikandi Merdeka Cup in Kudus. I am so happy to be able to watch international matches; that gives me extra motivation to train hard. Who knows, one day I could also play with the Indonesia national team like the older girls.

Ghaitsa Luffi Arachman

A Pathway for Girls’ Football from an Early Age to the Indonesia Women’s National Team

The MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) is the first stage of the development series. It introduces football to girls in the U-8, U-10 and U-12 age groups through fun tournaments held in 12 host cities.

Besides being a place to play and compete, the event is a talent identification process to find promising players, who receive further coaching through the MilkLife Soccer Extra Training programme.

Players who show the best progress and potential then get the chance to play at the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars, representing their cities.

Besides competing for a national trophy, they are watched by a talent scouting team led by Timo Scheunemann and Jacksen F. Tiago, the MLSC Head Coaches, to fill the Indonesian squads that will play at SingaCup 2026.

After getting to know and sharpening their skills at MLSC, young athletes with an interest and talent in football are directed to join football schools (Sekolah Sepak Bola, SSB).

At U-15 and U-18 level, girls can compete in the Hydroplus Soccer League, held in four regions: Jakarta, Bandung, Kudus and Surabaya. This stage is an important bridge for young female footballers on the way to a professional career.

The winners and runners-up earn tickets to the national round to play teams from other regions at the Hydroplus Soccer League All-Stars. It is at this event that the talent pool for the women’s national team takes clearer shape.

The talent scouting team will monitor the performance of players with the potential to strengthen two Indonesian squads at the Srikandi Merdeka Cup. They will test themselves against teams from six other countries: Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

This continuous development process has a very strong common thread for all age groups, from 8 to 18 years old. The place to train, play and compete has already been formed in the ecosystem that Djarum Foundation has built over the past three years.

Teddy Tjahjono

The end result will be a large talent pool to choose from to strengthen the national team. One example is that at the Srikandi Merdeka Cup an U-16 squad will be formed that will play in the AFC Cup qualifiers on 5 October.
