1.1 Tournament officials, be it referees or tournament organizers has the final say on all and any disputes.
1.2 Decisions made by the Referees are final and not disputable.
1.3 Each person attending the tournament must have read and accepted the rules and regulations. Ignoring it cannot be a reason put forward in case of an issue or dispute.
1.4 Players are expected to report to the Referee when called upon in a timely manner.
1.5 Both players must report the results at the end of every game to the score table.
1.6 Upon kick-off, a player has to pass the ball at least three times before scoring.
1.7 Forfeits: If a player does not show for the game or forfeits during the game, he/she loses the game with the maximum score of 3-0.
1.8 Players will be contacted and communicate with tournament officials, referees and organisers through Whatsapp and Discord.
1.9 Players may be requested to use “Share Play” with the tournament officials for spectating and refereeing during the tournament matches.
1.10 Selected games will require players to use “Share Play” with the tournament officials for
SCOGA’s live streaming purposes, during the tournament matches.
2.1 Two-Stage Tournament; Group Stage & Playoffs.
2.2 Group Stage – Players will be split into 32 groups of 4 to compete in a Two-Legged format. Top player of each group will move on to the Playoffs.
2.3 Playoffs – The top 32 players will compete in a Best of Three (BO3), single-elimination (knockout) format to determine the winner.
2.4 Players are free to use any of their preferred team. The same team can be played by both teams. In the event that the same teams are being played, the ‘away’ player will have to pick Away Jersey for that team. In general, ‘away’ players are responsible for picking the jersey that does not resemble the home team jersey.
2.5 Tie Breakers: Three points will be awarded for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a loss in the group stage.
In the event of ties in point standings, the following sequence will be used to determine who advances to the elimination stage, and who wins his group:
• Points earned from matches won or tied.
• Goal difference: Total net score for tournament games. Net score = goals scored; less goals scored against.
• Result of head to head game.
• If two teams are still tied, a 12min (6min per half) match will be played to determine the winner.
• After a tied game in knock-out stage, the game will go to overtime and then
penalties to determine a winner.
3. Game Settings:
3.1 Kick-off Mode
3.2 Choice of teams: All Clubs, No International teams
3.3 Substitutions: Players are only allowed to pause the game if their team is in possession of the ball.
4. Cheating:
4.1 Players are responsible for their actions in regards to known game bugs/exploits. Any
Player utilising ANY exploit or bug in a game, unintentional or otherwise will result in
disqualification.
5. Fair Play:
5.1 It is forbidden to insult or abuse a Player or a Referee.
5.2 The notion of fair play is up to the Referee's assessment. Lack of fair play can lead to penalties or disqualifications
5.3 If rules are broken, Tournament Referees may apply penalties according to their judgment and discretion.
5.4 In order to secure a pleasant course of the game, we encourage all players to show sportsmanlike and fair conduct.
6. Technical Regulations:
6.1 All games will be played on the Playstation 4 Console.
6.2 All games will be played on FIFA 21.
6.3 Players are to have an active PlayStation Network subscription.
6.4 Players are to have WhatsApp and Discord installed on their phones for communication purposes.
6.5 Disconnections: In the event of any disconnections, players MUST return to the game immediately. If the player decides to leave before the winner has been determined, the match will be deemed abandoned and the player is immediately disqualified.
