As a result of a 2nd straight red card awarded to Newton Heath FC North’s player number 6, Muhammad Yan Zarizal; he will no longer be part of final 2 matches of Newton Heath FC North’s campaign in Singa Cup 2011.

In accordance to Pt 12.5 Caution and Sending-Off Offences in the Singa Cup Tournament Guide: “Any player given a red card is automatically suspended from participation in the following match. The tournament jury can decide about suspension for further game(s).”

This decision is made after careful deliberation by the Singa Cup Committee, that makes up the Tournament Jury; and it was finally decided to suspend the mentioned player for an additional match – which effectively ruled him out of the rest of the Singa Cup.

It is regrettable that we have to award further suspension on top of the automatic one game suspension for a red card. In view of the need to protect the honour and integrity of the beautiful game and Singa Cup, we are left we no choice but to leave him out of the rest of the tournament.
