MilkLife Strikers Assistant Coach, Sasi Kirana, appreciated the efforts of the players who she considered had shown their best abilities throughout the two matches. Even though she managed to achieve a big win over Rato Bangala, she believes there are still a number of things that need to be evaluated after her team lost to Selangor FC Academy A.

In the first match against Nepal, the players still showed high enthusiasm even though they knew that the team they were facing had a level of play that was slightly below ours. I really appreciate their struggle, they maximized their efforts well. In the second match, we did not manage to win. But the players still appeared persistent. Apart from that, both teams also performed well by exchanging attacks. For tomorrow’s final, there are several things that will be evaluated, especially how to be calmer even when we are behind. The rest, I believe the players will continue to appear full of motivation.

I am happy and grateful that I got a hat-trick today. Since yesterday I have been convincing myself to appear more confident so that I can show my best. Thank God, today I was able to win against (the team from) Nepal. The struggle is not over because we came here to win. That is the motivation for me and my friends. Even though we lost earlier, it doesn’t matter, the important thing is that tomorrow we will fight again.
