MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title in Singapore, beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final a day after losing 0-1 to the same Malaysian side.
SINGAPORE – RADAR MALANG – The MilkLife Strikers team won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U-12 category. The title came after beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, on Tuesday (3 November). The achievement is a special reward for players who fought to keep up their form amid a packed match schedule.
In the final, the MilkLife Strikers team were calmer, relying on a short-passing game from the start of the match. Although Selangor FC Academy A defended with discipline, Jacksen F. Tiago’s players kept trying to find gaps to break through the opposing defence.

The effort paid off in the 9th minute. Nadia S. Azzahra made use of the space to shoot, firing a volley into the bottom right corner of the Selangor goal. After taking the lead, the MilkLife Strikers team did not slow the tempo. Their pressure paid off again in the 20th minute with a goal from Adelice Maureen.
The shot from the SDN Lowokwaru 3 Malang pupil was not dealt with by the Selangor FC Academy A goalkeeper, and MilkLife Strikers ended the first half 2-0 up. In the second half, the two teams kept trading attacks. Selangor FC Academy A tried to close the gap and pulled a goal back in the 37th minute, three minutes before the end of the match.
However, the MilkLife Strikers team held on to their 2-1 lead until the final whistle, securing the title. The win also avenged their 0-1 defeat by Selangor FC Academy A the day before.
MilkLife Strikers coach Jacksen F. Tiago praised the players’ response after losing to Selangor in the previous match. He felt his players were able to stay focused and showed a strong mentality to claim the title.
”I salute the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat did not really affect their mentality. It was proven today that they could stay focused and dominate possession,” he said. Personally, he was satisfied with what the players showed throughout the tournament. On the pitch they showed a strong champion mentality even after losing. And off the pitch, their attitude was good and they got along well with each other.
”I congratulate the players, and I hope this success will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia,” said Jacksen. As well as the team’s success, MilkLife Strikers also recorded an individual achievement through Locita Waranggani, who won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U-12 category. The forward from Surabaya scored two goals during the tournament and was one of the key players in the team’s journey to the title.
Locita said she was grateful to be able to help MilkLife Strikers win the title and bring home the MVP award. ”From the start I just wanted to give the best performance I could for the team. That’s why I’m so happy that I was finally able to help the team win and get the trophy,” she said.
According to her, the MVP title was also thanks to the support of her teammates and the whole coaching staff, and of her parents at home, who have supported her playing football so far. ”After this, I will keep trying to improve my game by training even harder to sharpen my skills,” said Locita.
