Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation says MilkLife Strikers’ appearance at Singa Cup 2026 is a benchmark for its girls’ youth football programme, built on the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars.
KUDUS, Lingkar.news – The best players from the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars 2025/2026 took part in the Singa Cup 2026 event. They joined the MilkLife Strikers team to compete in the biggest annual youth tournament in the world which has been held in Singapore since 2011.
This year, Singa Cup was attended by 136 teams from 13 countries spread across various parts of the world. In this year’s event, MilkLife Strikers participated in the Girls U12 category.

The Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation representative who is also the MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director, Teddy Tjahjono, said that the positive results achieved by MilkLife Strikers were good news for the sustainability of girls’ football development. Teddy believes that Singa Cup has become a benchmark for girls’ football development in Indonesia which has been implemented for the last few years.
This is part of our efforts to continue to develop women’s football coaching from grassroots level. This step will certainly enrich their experience and increase their playing time because the players can directly test the quality of opponents from various countries. Apart from that, we also see this as an opportunity to measure the extent of the output of the coaching that has been carried out through the MilkLife Soccer Challenge. We are happy that the players were able to perform well and win in the first match.

Singa Cup 2026 for the Girls U12 category is attended by four teams with a round-robin league system which will take place from 1 to 3 November 2026. The four teams are grouped into Group A with the top two teams in the standings advancing to the final. Meanwhile, the bottom two teams will fight for third place.
MilkLife Strikers itself started Singa Cup 2026 with a convincing victory over the host representative, Lion City Sailors, with a score of 6-1 at The Rainforest Hub, West Coast, Singapore, Sunday (1 November). The striker from SD Kristen Manahan Surakarta, Ika Wonda, appeared impressive by scoring a hat-trick in that match.
MilkLife Strikers coach, Jacksen F. Tiago, assessed that one of the keys to his team’s victory today was being effective in maximizing opportunities. Not only that, Jacksen also appreciated the mental strength of his players who were not afraid to face one of Singapore’s strong teams.
I told the kids that no matter how small an opportunity they had, they had to be maximized. That’s what they did today. Earlier the opposing team had done high-pressing, from there we managed to exploit the emptiness of their back line. Not only that, I’m also happy that the players were able to overcome their nervousness on the first day. Moreover, we managed to win against a strong team like Lion City Sailors. For me, them being able to come here and get playing experience is very valuable.
Jacksen F. Tiago, MilkLife Strikers coach
Not only does he appreciate the technical aspects, Jacksen also appreciates the team’s togetherness off the field. This is recognized as one of the supports for MilkLife Strikers’ cohesiveness when appearing on the field.
