MilkLife Strikers, Indonesia’s Girls U12 team, opened their Singa Cup 2026 campaign in Singapore with a 6-1 win over hosts Lion City Sailors.
JABAR EKSPRES – MilkLife Strikers made a brilliant debut in their first match at the international Singa Cup 2026. Facing host representatives Lion City Sailors at The Rainforest Hub, West Coast, Singapore, on Sunday (1 November), Jacksen F. Tiago’s squad played ferociously and secured a convincing 6-1 win.
Young forward Ika Wonda, from SD Kristen Manahan Surakarta primary school, emerged as the star of the pitch after scoring a hat-trick (three goals) in the match.
A Lightning Goal Rush in the First Half

At the start of the match, MilkLife Strikers played patiently, reading the high press that Lion City Sailors applied from the opening minutes. Calm and disciplined, relying on short passes, they finally broke the deadlock in the 3rd minute.
It was Locita Waranggani who gave them the lead with a fine run into the heart of the opposing defence. The early goal proved to shatter the concentration of Lion City Sailors’ back line.
Just five minutes later (8th minute), Keyla Azzahra Putri doubled the lead with a header. Before their opponents could catch their breath, a minute later MilkLife Strikers were awarded a penalty, which Nadia Shakila Azzahra converted perfectly.
To close the first half, Ika Wonda showed her class by scoring two more goals within a single minute, in the 10th minute, putting her team well ahead at half-time.
In the second half, MilkLife Strikers stayed aggressive. Lion City Sailors pulled one back through a goal from Hana Raiqa in the 23rd minute. But with three minutes of the match left, Ika Wonda got on the scoresheet again to round off a sweet 6-1 win.
Nerves of Steel and Effectiveness the Key
MilkLife Strikers head coach Jacksen F. Tiago praised the discipline and mental composure of his young players, who were not daunted by facing one of Singapore’s strong teams.
I told the children that even the smallest chance has to be made the most of. Besides that, I am happy the players could overcome their nerves on the first day and play as a unit even though they come from different team backgrounds.
