The Indonesian side’s goals were scored by Nadia S. Azzahra and Adelice Maureen. The opponents pulled one goal back but could not draw level by the end of the match.

The win also avenged a 0-1 defeat by Selangor FC Academy A the day before. The two teams had met earlier in the round-robin league stage.

I salute the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat did not really affect their mentality. It was proven today that they could stay focused and dominate possession. Personally, I am satisfied with what they showed throughout the tournament. On the pitch they could show a strong champion mentality even after losing. And off the pitch, their attitude was good and they got along well with each other. I congratulate the players, and I hope this success will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia.

Jacksen F. Tiago, MilkLife Strikers coach

As well as the team’s success, MilkLife Strikers also recorded an individual achievement through Locita Waranggani, who won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category. The forward from Surabaya, East Java, scored two goals during the tournament and was one of the key players in the team’s journey to the title.

From the start I just wanted to give the best possible performance for the team. That’s why I’m really happy that I was finally able to help the team win and get the MVP trophy. All of this is also thanks to the support of my friends on the team and the entire coaching staff too.

MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director Teddy Tjahjono assesses that MilkLife Strikers’ success in winning Singa Cup 2026 is a positive achievement for the development of Indonesian women’s football. According to him, the experience of competing at international level can be a valuable asset for the players as well as an inspiration for other girls to take up football.

Hopefully what we have achieved here will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia. We will continue to take steps like this in the years to come as a form of continuous development from an early age.
