MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title by beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final, and Locita Waranggani was named the category’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).

JABAR EKSPRES – Young Indonesian female footballers have made another brilliant achievement on the international stage. The MilkLife Strikers team successfully won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category after defeating the Malaysian representative, Selangor FC Academy A, with a narrow score of 2-1 in the final at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, Tuesday (3 November 2026).

This victory was also a sweet revenge for MilkLife Strikers after suffering a narrow 0-1 defeat to the same opponent in the group phase the previous day.

Appearing calmer by relying on ball control and short passes, the squad coached by head coach Jacksen F. Tiago took the initiative to press from the kick-off whistle. As a result, in the 9th minute, Nadia S. Azzahra succeeded in breaking the deadlock with her measured volley which landed in the bottom right corner of the Selangor goal.

The consistent pressure exerted by MilkLife Strikers again bore fruit towards the end of the first half. Entering the 20th minute, it was Adelice Maureen’s turn to get her name on the scoreboard after her shot failed to be anticipated by the opposing goalkeeper, giving the Garuda squad a comfortable 2-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Selangor FC Academy A tried hard to catch up and managed to reduce the position in the 37th minute. Nevertheless, MilkLife Strikers’ disciplined defense line was able to maintain a 2-1 lead until the referee blew the final whistle to signal the end of the match.

Coach Appreciation and Individual Achievements

MilkLife Strikers head coach, Jacksen F. Tiago, expressed his pride in the steel mentality shown by his team on the field. According to him, the defeat in the previous match did not undermine the focus and self-confidence of the young players.

I applaud the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat didn’t really affect their mentality. It’s proven that today they can stay focused and appear dominant in possession of the ball.

Jacksen F. Tiago, MilkLife Strikers coach

The team’s happiness became even more complete when the young striker from Surabaya, Locita Waranggani, was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) Singa Cup 2026 in the Girls U12 category. Contributing to scoring two important goals throughout the tournament, Locita admitted that she was grateful and dedicated this achievement to her teammates, coaches and the full support of parents in her homeland.
