MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title in Singapore, beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final a day after losing 0-1 to the same Malaysian side.

Esposin, SINGAPORE – MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category after beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, on Tuesday (3 November 2026).

MilkLife Strikers were calmer in the deciding match. Relying on a short-passing game, Jacksen F. Tiago’s team tried to break down a Selangor FC Academy A defence that was disciplined from the start of the match.

The effort paid off in the 9th minute. Nadia S. Azzahra made use of the space to shoot and fired a volley into the bottom right corner of the Selangor goal.

One goal advantage made MilkLife Strikers even more confident. Pressure after pressure was launched again, resulting in a second goal through Adelice Maureen in the 20th minute. Her shot failed to be anticipated by the Selangor FC Academy A goalkeeper. MilkLife Strikers closed the first half with a 2-0 lead.

In the second half, Selangor FC Academy A tried to fight back and increased the intensity of their attacks. The Malaysian team cut the deficit with a goal in the 37th minute.

Despite coming under pressure in the final minutes, MilkLife Strikers held their lead until the end of the match. The 2-1 score secured the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title for the Indonesian representatives.

MilkLife Strikers coach Jacksen F. Tiago praised the mentality of the players, who were able to bounce back after the defeat in the previous match. According to him, the players showed positive development, both in their play and in their attitude during the tournament.

I salute the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat did not really affect their mentality. It was proven today that they could stay focused and dominate possession.

Jacksen F. Tiago, MilkLife Strikers coach

He said he was satisfied with his players’ performance throughout the tournament. Jacksen felt the players were able to show a champion mentality even after suffering a defeat.

On the field they can show a strong winning mentality even though they have lost. Then off the field, their attitude is good and they get along well with each other. I congratulate the players, I hope this success will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia.

Jacksen F. Tiago, MilkLife Strikers coach

As well as the team’s success, MilkLife Strikers also recorded an individual achievement. Locita Waranggani was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category.

The striker from Surabaya, East Java, scored two goals throughout the tournament and became one of the important players in MilkLife Strikers’ journey to the title.

MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director Teddy Tjahjono said the success is a positive achievement for the development of Indonesian girls’ football. According to him, the experience of competing at international level can be an important asset for young players.

Congratulations to the players and coaches for their success. Thank you also for your hard work so far so that MilkLife Strikers can become champions at Singa Cup. Hopefully what we have achieved here will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia.

Teddy Tjahjono, MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director

He said girls’ football development needs to be carried out sustainably from an early age. Sending a team to an international competition is one step to give players experience and improve their quality.

We can see for ourselves how Indonesian girls’ football has developed in recent years, from grassroots level to the national team. That means what has been done so far is indeed moving on the right track.

Teddy Tjahjono, MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director
