MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title in Singapore, beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final a day after losing 0-1 to the same Malaysian side.

MOJOK.CO – MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category after beating Selangor FC Academy A with a score of 2-1. Victory in the final also avenged the defeat by the Malaysian representative the day before.

The 0-1 defeat to Selangor FC Academy A the day before did not make MilkLife Strikers lose confidence. Meeting again in the final at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, Tuesday (3 November 2026), the team coached by Jacksen F. Tiago turned out to win and took home the Singa Cup 2026 champion title in the Girls U12 category.

Two MilkLife Strikers goals were scored by Nadia S. Azzahra in the 9th minute and Adelice Maureen in the 20th minute. Selangor reduced the deficit in the 37th minute, but MilkLife Strikers was able to maintain the lead until the match ended.

In addition to winning the championship title, MilkLife Strikers took home individual awards. The striker from Surabaya, Locita Waranggani, was selected as the best player or Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the Girls U12 category.

MilkLife Strikers led by two goals in the first half

MilkLife Strikers started the final by relying on a short passing game. Facing a disciplined Selangor defense, the players tried to find space to create opportunities.

The deadlock was broken in the 9th minute. Nadia took advantage of the shooting space to fire a volley into the bottom right corner of the Selangor goal.

After taking the lead, MilkLife Strikers continued to press. In the 20th minute, Adelice Maureen doubled the lead with a kick that the opposing goalkeeper failed to anticipate. The first half ended with a score of 2-0.

Both teams exchanged attacks in the second half. Selangor, who were trying to catch up, finally scored a goal in the 37th minute, three minutes before the match ended. However, these efforts were not enough to thwart MilkLife Strikers’ victory.

Jacksen appreciated the response of his team after losing in the previous meeting. According to him, the players were able to maintain focus and show their best game again in the final.

I applaud the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat did not really affect their mentality. It was proven that today they were able to stay focused and appear dominant in possession of the ball.

Jacksen F. Tiago, MilkLife Strikers coach

He also highlighted the togetherness of the players during the tournament. Apart from showing a winning mentality on the field, they are considered able to mix well outside the match.

I congratulate the players, I hope this success will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia.

Locita Waranggani wins MVP

MilkLife Strikers’ success became even more complete after Locita Waranggani won the MVP award. The striker from Surabaya, East Java, scored two goals throughout the tournament.

For Locita, the title and best player award were the result of the support of her teammates, coaching staff and parents who accompanied her in pursuing football.

From the start I just wanted to give the best performance possible for the team. That’s why I’m really happy that I was finally able to help the team win and get the MVP trophy.

We will continue to take steps like this in the years to come as a form of continuous development from an early age.
