After MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title, MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director Teddy Tjahjono said Indonesia’s girls’ football development is on the right track.
SINGAPORE, suaramerdeka-wawasan.com – MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director Teddy Tjahjono believes the development of Indonesian girls’ football in recent years, from grassroots level to the Indonesia national team, is on the right track.
Teddy gave this assessment after watching MilkLife Strikers win the Girls U-12 category of the international football championship Singa Cup 2026 at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, on Tuesday, 3 November 2026.

As reported earlier, MilkLife Strikers won the Girls U-12 title after beating Selangor FC Academy A by a narrow 2-1.
The two winning goals for the team, formed by Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation together with MilkLife, were scored by Nadia S Azzahra in the 9th minute and Adelice Maureen towards the end of the first half.
As well as winning the title, one of their players, Locita Waranggani, won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U-12 category.
‘’We can see for ourselves how Indonesian girls’ football has developed in recent years, from grassroots level to the national team. That means what has been done so far is indeed moving on the right track,” said Teddy.
Teddy further said MilkLife Strikers’ Singa Cup 2026 title is a positive achievement for the development of Indonesian girls’ football.
According to him, the experience of competing at international level can be a valuable asset for the MilkLife Strikers players, a team formed through the collaboration of Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and MilkLife, and also an inspiration for other girls to take up football.
“Congratulations to the players and coaches on their success. Thank you also for all the hard work so far that has allowed MilkLife Strikers to become champions at Singa Cup,’’ he said.
Teddy, as a representative of Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation, made it clear that what his organisation has achieved for girls’ football so far will not stop here. It is determined to keep improving the programme.
