TRIBUNSOLO.COM, SINGAPORE – MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category after beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final on Tuesday (3 November 2026) at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore.

MilkLife Strikers appeared calmer by relying on a short passing game from the start of the match.
Even though Selangor FC Academy A appeared disciplined in defense, MilkLife Strikers continued to try to find gaps to penetrate the opponent’s defense.
These efforts bore fruit in the 9th minute. Nadia S. Azzahra managed to take advantage of the shooting space to fire a volley which aimed at the bottom right corner of the Selangor goal
After taking the lead, MilkLife Strikers did not slow the tempo of their game.
Their pressure paid off again in the 20th minute with a goal from Adelice Maureen. Her shot was not dealt with by the Selangor FC Academy A goalkeeper, and MilkLife Strikers ended the first half 2-0 up.
Entering the second half, both teams continued to exchange attacks. Selangor FC Academy A tried to catch up and reduced the score with a goal in the 37th minute, three minutes before the match ended.
However, until the final whistle sounded, MilkLife Strikers was able to maintain a 2-1 lead while ensuring the title. This victory also avenged the 0-1 defeat to Selangor FC Academy A the day before.
MilkLife Strikers coach, Jacksen F. Tiago, appreciated the players’ response after losing to Selangor in the previous match.
He assessed that his team were able to maintain focus and show a strong mentality until they succeeded in winning the championship title.
I salute the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat did not really affect their mentality. It was proven today that they could stay focused and dominate possession. Personally, I am satisfied with what they showed throughout the tournament. On the pitch they could show a strong champion mentality even after losing. And off the pitch, their attitude is good and they get along well with each other. I congratulate the players, and I hope this success will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia.

Apart from team success, MilkLife Strikers also recorded individual achievements through Locita Waranggani who won the Singa Cup 2026 Most Valuable Player (MVP) award in the Girls U12 category.

Locita admitted that she was grateful to be able to help MilkLife Strikers win the title and take home the MVP award. She is also determined to continue improving her abilities through practice so that she can perform better the next time.
From the start, I just wanted to give the best possible performance for the team. That’s why I’m really happy that I was finally able to help the team win and win the MVP trophy. All of this is also thanks to the support of my friends on the team and the entire coaching staff too. Then to my parents at home who have supported me in playing football so far. After this, I will continue to try to improve my game by practicing more actively to hone my skills.
