MilkLife Strikers U-12 began Indonesia’s campaign at Singa Cup 2026 with a 6-1 thrashing of Lion City Sailors. The girls’ U-12 match took place at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, on Sunday (1 November 2026), with Ika Wonda scoring three goals, as reported by Detik Sport.
Ika Wonda, a forward from SD Kristen Manahan Surakarta primary school, scored a hat-trick in the match. The other three goals came from Locita Waranggani, Keyla Azzahra Putri and Nadia Shakila Azzahra.
MilkLife Strikers coach Jacksen F. Tiago praised his players’ ability to use their chances and read the weaknesses in the opposing defence. He said the strategy for dealing with Lion City Sailors’ high pressure helped the team score six goals.

I told the children that even the smallest chance has to be made the most of. That is what they did today. The opposing team applied high pressure, and from there we managed to exploit the empty space in their back line.

Besides the effectiveness of the attack, Jacksen said the players were able to control their nerves in the first match. The win over Lion City Sailors was also a valuable experience for the young Indonesian players at the international tournament.
Not only that, I am also happy the players could overcome their nerves on the first day. What is more, we managed to win against a strong team like Lion City Sailors. For me, being able to come here and get this playing experience is already very valuable.

Jacksen has long experience in Indonesian football. He led Persipura Jayapura to a number of honours and coached the Indonesia national team in 2013.
The team’s preparation before leaving for Singapore was also a focus for the coach. MilkLife Strikers went through intensive training focused on building chemistry, as the players come from different team backgrounds.
Before leaving for here, the players went through intensive preparation. From the start, we focused on building the players’ chemistry on the pitch. As a result, today I saw them all blend in and play as a unit. They managed to close the distance between one another even though they come from different team backgrounds.
