MilkLife Strikers topped Group A in the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category despite a 0-1 loss to Selangor FC Academy A, and will meet the Malaysian side again in the final.
RBCOM – MilkLife Strikers have secured a ticket to the Singa Cup 2026 final in the Girls U12 category. The team coached by Jacksen F. Tiago will face Selangor FC Academy A from Malaysia in the title match on Tuesday (3 November 2026).
This was confirmed after MilkLife Strikers completed the second day of the group stage at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, on Monday (2 November 2026).

Despite suffering a narrow 0-1 defeat to Selangor FC Academy A, the Indonesian representatives still finished top of the Group A standings.
Earlier, MilkLife Strikers were very dominant against Rato Bangala from Nepal. They recorded a crushing 13-0 win through attacking play that produced many chances and goals.
Locita Waranggani opened the scoring in the 7th minute with a long-range shot. Keyla A. P. Natawijaya then made it 2-0 in the 11th minute, followed by a goal from Nadia S. Azzahra two minutes later.
Nadia was again involved in the next goal, which was recorded as an own goal by an opposing player. Before half-time, Adiba S. Primayuga converted a penalty to put her team 5-0 up.
MilkLife Strikers’ dominance continued in the second half. Ferisa Dewi Widodo was one of the standout players, scoring three goals in the 25th, 27th and 37th minutes.
Meanwhile, Angelina P. S. Mongan scored in the 31st minute, followed by Adelice Maureen in the 35th. Adiba then closed the goal feast with her second goal in the 39th minute.
However, a tougher challenge came when MilkLife Strikers faced Selangor FC Academy A in their next match. The match, which was delayed by heavy rain, was eventually won 1-0 by the Malaysian representatives.
The result did not shake MilkLife Strikers’ position at the top of the standings. They collected six points with a goal difference of +17, while Selangor FC Academy A were second with a goal difference of +9.
Lion City Sailors were third with a goal difference of +8 after beating Rato Bangala 12-0. MilkLife Strikers will therefore meet Selangor FC Academy A again in the final, while Lion City Sailors face Rato Bangala for third place.
MilkLife Strikers assistant coach Sasi Kirana praised the hard work of the players over the two matches. While pleased with the big win over the Nepalese side, she admitted there were still several aspects of play that needed improving before the final.
In the first match against Nepal, the players still showed great spirit even though they knew the team they faced played at a level slightly below ours. I really appreciate their effort; every chance was taken well. In the second match we did not manage to win, but the players kept fighting hard. Both teams also played well, exchanging attacks. For the final tomorrow, there are several things we will evaluate, especially how to stay calmer even when we are behind. As for the rest, I believe the players will keep playing full of motivation.

Meanwhile, Ferisa Dewi Widodo, who scored a hat-trick against Rato Bangala, said she was grateful for her achievement.
The player from West Java said self-confidence was one of the important assets for showing her best ability during the tournament.
I am happy and grateful that I could score a hat-trick today. Since yesterday I have been convincing myself to play with more confidence so that I can show my best. Thank God we won today against (the team from) Nepal. The fight is not over because we came here to be champions. That is what motivates me and my teammates. Even though we lost earlier, it’s okay; what matters is that tomorrow we will fight again.
