MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title in Singapore, beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final a day after losing 0-1 to the same Malaysian side.
PIKIRAN RAKYAT – Indonesia’s representatives MilkLife Strikers emerged as champions of the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category after beating Malaysia’s representatives, Selangor FC Academy A, 2-1 in the final at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, on Tuesday, 3 November 2026. The win was also complete revenge for a narrow 0-1 defeat by the same opponents the day before.
From the first whistle, Jacksen F. Tiago’s players were confident, relying on a tight flow of short passes. Although Selangor FC Academy A showed great discipline in defence, MilkLife Strikers’ dominance of possession finally broke the deadlock in the 9th minute. Nadia S. Azzahra made use of the shooting space outside the penalty box with a well-placed volley that flew into the bottom right corner of the opponents’ goal.

A one-goal lead did not make MilkLife Strikers ease the pressure. In the 20th minute, the Red and White’s lead was doubled by a strike from Adelice Maureen. Adelice’s well-aimed shot was not dealt with by the Selangor goalkeeper, locking in a 2-0 lead at half-time.
In the second half, Selangor FC Academy A tried to respond by increasing the intensity of their attacks. The pressure produced a goal in the 37th minute to reduce the deficit. Even so, the MilkLife Strikers squad kept their discipline and composure for the rest of the match, making sure the 2-1 lead held until the end.
MilkLife Strikers head coach Jacksen F. Tiago gave high praise to his players’ fighting spirit and mentality. He felt his players bounced back remarkably after a poor result in the group stage.
I salute the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat did not affect their mentality. It was proven today that they could stay focused and dominate possession. On the pitch they showed a strong champion mentality, while off the pitch their attitude was very good and they got along with each other. Hopefully this success can be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia.

The team’s joy was made complete when MilkLife Strikers’ forward from Surabaya, Locita Waranggani, was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category. As well as impressing as a creator of attacks, Locita also contributed two important goals during the tournament.
I’m so happy to be able to help the team become champions and win the MVP trophy. This win is thanks to the support of all my teammates, the coaching staff and my parents, who keep supporting me at home. After this I will train hard so I can improve my ability.
