Before this defeat, the Indonesian team performed productively by beating Lion City Sailors 6-1 on Sunday (1 November 2026). They then recorded a bigger victory, namely 13-0 over Nepal’s representative, Rato Bangala, at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore.

MilkLife Strikers is a team strengthened by selected players from the 2025-2026 MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars. The Singa Cup tournament itself has been regularly held in Singapore since 2011 and in the 2026 edition, 136 teams from 13 countries will participate.

In the match against Rato Bangala, Locita Waranggani opened Indonesia’s lead with a long-range shot in the seventh minute. Keyla A. P. Natawijaya then doubled the score in the 11th minute, followed by Nadia S. Azzahra’s goal two minutes later.

The lead increased after the ball hit an opposing player and resulted in an own goal. Adiba S. Primayuga then closed the first half with a penalty in the 17th minute to put MilkLife Strikers ahead 5-0.

Entering the second half, Ferisa Dewi Widodo scored three goals each in the 25th, 27th and 37th minutes. Angelina P. S. Mongan also contributed a goal in the 31st minute, while Adelice Maureen scored a goal in the 35th minute.

Adiba completed the big win with her second goal in the 39th minute. The 13-0 result was MilkLife Strikers’ biggest win throughout the group stage matches mentioned in the tournament report.

The defeat of Selangor FC Academy A did not change MilkLife Strikers’ position at the top of the standings. Based on the final standings of Group A, Selangor is in second place with a goal difference of +9, while Lion City Sailors is below it with a goal difference of +8.

In the match against Selangor, the schedule was delayed due to heavy rain that hit The Rainforest Hub. The match finally took place after the weather conditions improved and ended with a 1-0 win for the Malaysian representatives.

Lion City Sailors also recorded a big win on day two after defeating Rato Bangala with a score of 12-0. The results of all these matches ensured that MilkLife Strikers and Selangor FC Academy A met again in the final, while Lion City Sailors faced Rato Bangala in the battle for third place.

MilkLife Strikers assistant coach, Sasi Kirana, appreciated the enthusiasm of the players when facing Rato Bangala. According to her, the players were able to take advantage of opportunities even though they knew that the quality of their opponents was slightly below that of the Indonesian team.

In the first match against Nepal, the players still showed high enthusiasm even though they knew the team they were facing had a level of play slightly below ours.

She also assessed that the match against Selangor was competitive because both teams launched attacks on each other. Even though they failed to win, the players continued to show their struggle until the match ended.

Towards the final, Sasi said that calmness when facing a situation of being left behind was one of the aspects that needed to be improved. She remains optimistic that the players can maintain their motivation for the deciding match.

I really appreciate their struggle, they maximized every opportunity they had. In the second match we didn’t manage to win. However, the players still appeared persistent. Apart from that, both teams also performed well by exchanging attacks. For tomorrow’s final, there are several things that will be evaluated, especially how they can be calmer even when they are behind. For the rest, I believe the players will continue to appear full of motivation.

Ferisa Targets Champion Title

Ferisa Dewi Widodo was one of the players who stood out against Rato Bangala after scoring three goals. The player from West Java admitted that she was grateful for her achievements and mentioned self-confidence as one of the things that helped her perform optimally.

I am happy and grateful that I was able to score three goals today. Since yesterday I have been convincing myself to appear more confident so I can perform at my best.

Ferisa Dewi Widodo, MilkLife Strikers player

Ferisa emphasized that the big victory over representatives of Nepal did not end her team’s struggle. She and her colleagues still have a target to bring home the 2026 Singa Cup championship title.

Thank God, we were able to win today against a team from Nepal. The struggle is not over because we came here to win. That is the motivation for me and my friends. Even though we lost earlier, it doesn’t matter, the important thing is that tomorrow we will fight again.
