MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title by beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final, and Locita Waranggani was named the category’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).

Bola.com, Singapore – The Indonesian girls’ football team, MilkLife Strikers, managed to win the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category. MilkLife Strikers successfully defeated Selangor FC Academy A with a score of 2-1 in the final at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, Tuesday (3 November 2026).

MilkLife Strikers appeared calmer by relying on a short passing game from the start of the match.

Even though Selangor FC Academy A appeared disciplined in defense, MilkLife Strikers continued to try to find gaps to penetrate the opponent’s defense.

These efforts paid off in the ninth minute. Nadia S. Azzahra managed to take advantage of the shooting space to fire a volley which aimed at the bottom right corner of the Selangor goal

After winning, MilkLife Strikers did not relax the tempo of the game. The pressure paid off again in the 20th minute through Adelice Maureen’s goal.

Her shot failed to be anticipated by the Selangor FC Academy A goalkeeper, making MilkLife Strikers close the first half with a 2-0 lead.

Entering the second half, both teams continued to exchange attacks. Selangor FC Academy A tried to catch up and reduced the score with a goal in the 37th minute, three minutes before the match ended.

However, until the final whistle sounded, MilkLife Strikers was able to maintain a 2-1 lead while ensuring the title. This victory also avenged the 0-1 defeat to Selangor FC Academy A the day before.

Thanks to a Strong Mentality

MilkLife Strikers coach, Jacksen F. Tiago, appreciated the players’ response after losing to Selangor in the previous match.

He assessed that his team were able to maintain focus and show a strong mentality until they succeeded in winning the championship title.

I applaud the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat didn’t really affect their mentality. It’s proven that today they can stay focused and appear dominant in possession of the ball. Personally, I was satisfied seeing what they displayed throughout the tournament. On the field they were able to show a strong winning mentality even though they lost. Then outside the field, their attitude is good and they get along with each other. I congratulate the players, I hope this success will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia.

Apart from team success, MilkLife Strikers also recorded individual achievements through Locita Waranggani who won the Singa Cup 2026 Most Valuable Player (MVP) award in the Girls U12 category.

The striker from Surabaya, East Java, scored two goals throughout the tournament and became one of the important players in the team’s journey to the title.

Locita admitted that she was grateful to be able to help MilkLife Strikers win the title and take home the MVP award.

She is also determined to continue improving her abilities through practice so that she can perform better the next time.

From the start I just wanted to give the best performance possible for the team. That’s why I’m really happy that I was finally able to help the team win and get the MVP trophy. All of this is also thanks to the support of my friends on the team and the entire coaching staff too. Then to my parents at home who have supported me in playing football so far. After this, I will continue to try to improve my game by practicing harder to hone my skills.

Congratulations to the players and coaches for their success. Thank you also for your hard work so far so that MilkLife Strikers can become champions at Singa Cup. Hopefully what we have achieved here will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia. We will continue to take steps like this in the coming years as a form of continuous development from an early age. This means that what has happened so far is moving on the right track.
