MilkLife Strikers reached the Girls U12 final of Singa Cup 2026 after beating Nepal’s Rato Bangala 13-0 and losing 0-1 to Selangor FC Academy A, setting up a rematch with the Malaysian side for the title.

The Indonesian women’s football team, MilkLife Strikers, secured a place in the 2026 Singa Cup final after ending the Group A phase in top position. These results were achieved through two matches at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, Monday (2 November 2026), with six points and a goal difference of +17, reported by Medcom. Jacksen F. Tiago’s squad previously recorded a big 13-0 win over Rato Bangala from Nepal. However, they then lost 0-1 to Selangor FC Academy A in a match that was delayed due to heavy rain. This defeat did not derail MilkLife Strikers’ steps towards the top match.

They will face Selangor FC Academy A again on Tuesday (3 November 2026) to fight for the championship title.

In the match against Rato Bangala, Locita Waranggani Olah N opened MilkLife Strikers’ lead with a long-range shot in the seventh minute. Keyla Azzahra Putri then added to the lead four minutes later.

Nadia Shakila Azzahra also contributed a goal, while another goal came from an own goal from player Rato Bangala. Adiba Sanas Primayuga also scored a goal from a penalty kick. Entering the second half, MilkLife Strikers’ dominance continued.

Ferisa Dewi Widodo recorded a hat-trick, while Angelina Putri S. Mongan and Adelice Maureen Hanum F also scored goals. Adiba completed her performance with the second goal.

After this victory, MilkLife Strikers faced Selangor FC Academy A. The match was temporarily stopped due to heavy rain at The Rainforest Hub before finally continuing and the Malaysian representative won with a score of 1-0. Based on Group A standings, MilkLife Strikers collected six points with a goal difference of +17. Selangor FC Academy A is in second place with a goal difference of +9, while Lion City Sailors is next with a goal difference of +8.

Lion City Sailors also picked up a 12-0 win over Rato Bangala. These results ensured that Lion City Sailors played against Rato Bangala in the battle for third place, while the top two teams advanced to the final. MilkLife Strikers Assistant Coach, Sasi Kirana, appreciated the players’ struggle in these two matches.

She assessed that her team were able to maximize their opportunities when facing Nepal’s representatives. “During the first match against Nepal, the players still showed high enthusiasm even though they knew that the team they were facing had a level of play slightly below ours. I really appreciate their struggle, they maximized every opportunity they succeeded,” said Sasi Kirana, MilkLife Strikers Assistant Coach.

Sasi also admitted that her team had not succeeded in securing victory against Selangor. However, the players were considered to have continued to show struggle throughout the match.

Evaluation ahead of the final will focus on the player’s ability to maintain composure when they are behind. Sasi hopes that the squad’s motivation will remain maintained when they face the same opponent again. “For tomorrow’s final, there are several things that will be evaluated, especially how to be calmer even when you are behind.

“The rest, I believe the players will continue to appear full of motivation,” said Sasi Kirana. Ferisa Dewi Widodo also expressed her gratitude after scoring three goals against Rato Bangala. The player from West Java said increasing self-confidence was part of her preparation during the tournament.

I am happy and grateful that I got a hat-trick today. Since yesterday I have been convincing myself to appear more confident so I can perform my best.

Ferisa Dewi Widodo, MilkLife Strikers player

Ferisa emphasized that the MilkLife Strikers target has not changed even though her team lost to Selangor. She and her colleagues remain determined to bring home the championship title from Singapore. “The struggle is not over because we came here to win.

That is what motivates me and my friends. “Even though we lost earlier, it doesn’t matter, the important thing is that tomorrow we will fight again,” said Ferisa Dewi Widodo.

Singa Cup is a youth football tournament that has been regularly held in Singapore since 2011. The 2026 edition was attended by 136 teams from 13 countries. The Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation together with MilkLife sent MilkLife Strikers to take part in the Girls U12 category.
