MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title in Singapore, beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final a day after losing 0-1 to the same Malaysian side.
SINGAPORE, KILATSOLO.COM – The Indonesian girls’ football team, MilkLife Strikers, succeeded in bringing home the Singa Cup 2026 champion title in the Girls U12 category.
This certainty was obtained after they beat Selangor FC Academy A with a score of 2-1 in the final match at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, Tuesday (3 November 2026).

This success was also revenge for the defeat experienced by MilkLife Strikers when they met Selangor FC Academy A the day before. At that time, the Indonesian representatives had to concede defeat to Selangor FC Academy A with a narrow score of 0-1.
Armed with experience from the first meeting, MilkLife Strikers appeared more effective in the deciding match. They controlled the game through short ball flows and tried to dismantle the Selangor defense which appeared quite tight.
This strategy paid off when the match entered the ninth minute. Nadia S. Azzahra opened MilkLife Strikers’ lead with a volley that aimed at the bottom right side of Selangor FC Academy A’s goal. This goal further increased the players’ confidence. MilkLife Strikers continued to apply pressure until they managed to widen the gap to 2-0 in the 20th minute.
This time, Adelice Maureen got her name on the scoreboard after her shot couldn’t be stopped by the opposing goalkeeper.
Entering the second half, Selangor FC Academy A tried to change things by increasing the intensity of the attack. The Malaysian team’s efforts resulted in a goal in the 37th minute and reduced the deficit to 1-2.
This situation makes the match even more competitive. However, MilkLife Strikers was able to maintain its lead until the match ended. The 2-1 score ensured they stood as Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 champions.
MilkLife Strikers coach, Jacksen F Tiago, expressed his appreciation to all players who were able to show a positive response after losing in the previous match.
According to him, the negative results the day before did not make the players lose confidence. They were actually able to improve their performance and maintain concentration when they faced the same opponent again in the final.
Jacksen also considered ball control and team cohesion to be an important part of this success.
I applaud the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat did not really affect their mentality. It was proven that today they were able to stay focused and appear dominant in possession of the ball.
Jacksen F. Tiago, MilkLife Strikers coach
Apart from technical developments on the field, he appreciated the attitude of the players during the tournament. According to him, the ability to build togetherness and maintain positive behavior is an important asset for young athletes.
He hopes that the success in Singapore can motivate more girls in Indonesia to dare to take up football.
Locita Waranggani was named MVP
