MilkLife Strikers, Indonesia’s Girls U12 team, opened their Singa Cup 2026 campaign in Singapore with a 6-1 win over hosts Lion City Sailors.

SINGAPORE, beritajateng.tv – MilkLife Strikers made a very impressive start at the international Singa Cup 2026. The Indonesian representatives silenced hosts Lion City Sailors 6-1 at The Rainforest Hub, West Coast, Singapore, on Sunday, 1 November 2026.

Young forward Ika Wonda, from SD Kristen Manahan Surakarta primary school, was the star of the pitch with a hat-trick in the opening Girls U-12 match.

The match was actually tight in the opening minutes. MilkLife Strikers took time to read the game of their opponents, who pressed high straight away. Even so, Ika Wonda and her team-mates stayed calm and controlled the tempo with tidy short passing.

The deadlock was finally broken in the 3rd minute. Locita Waranggani broke through the opposing defence and opened the scoring for MilkLife Strikers.

The early goal immediately broke Lion City Sailors’ concentration. Just five minutes later (8th minute), Keyla Azzahra Putri extended the lead with a well-directed header.

Before the hosts could catch their breath, the referee pointed to the spot in the 9th minute, and Nadia Shakila Azzahra converted to make it 3-0.

The first-half goal rush was capped by a brilliant display from Ika Wonda, who scored two goals within one minute (10th minute). The 5-0 score held until half-time.

In the second half MilkLife Strikers stayed aggressive. But a brief lapse was punished by Lion City Sailors, who scored a consolation goal through Hana Raiqa in the 23rd minute.

Near the end of the match, Ika Wonda got on the scoresheet again to complete her hat-trick and seal a convincing 6-1 win.

Praise for MilkLife Strikers’ Mentality and Cohesion

MilkLife Strikers coach Jacksen F. Tiago praised his players’ effectiveness in making the most of their chances. The former Indonesia national team coach also praised the mentality of the players, who were not daunted by facing one of Singapore’s strong teams.
