MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title by beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final, and Locita Waranggani was named the category’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).

SINGAPORE, HELOINDONESIA.COM – Sweet revenge was served at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore. Playing in the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 final on Tuesday (3 November 2026), the MilkLife Strikers girls’ football team put on a stunning display to beat Malaysia’s representatives, Selangor FC Academy A, by a narrow 2-1.

The win ended their wait and fully made up for the 0-1 defeat by the same opponents the day before.

From the first whistle, Jacksen F Tiago’s players were cool and confident. Their passing flowed smoothly from foot to foot, breaking down Selangor FC’s tight defensive barricade. The awaited lead finally came in the 9th minute when a fantastic volley from Nadia S Azzahra nestled neatly in the bottom right corner of the opponents’ goal.

The Indonesian side’s wave of attacks did not stop there. In the 20th minute it was Adelice Maureen’s turn to get her name on the scoreboard after her well-placed shot beat the opposing goalkeeper. MilkLife Strikers ended the first half with a convincing 2-0 lead.

In the second half, Selangor FC A increased the intensity of their attacks to close the gap and pulled a goal back in the 37th minute. Despite coming under heavy pressure in the remaining minutes, MilkLife Strikers proved their mental toughness until the final whistle.

MilkLife Strikers coach Jacksen F Tiago could not hide his pride in the determination of his players, who were able to bounce back from their earlier defeat.

I salute the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat did not really affect their mentality. It was proven today that they could stay focused and dominate possession. On the pitch they showed a strong champion mentality, and off the pitch their attitude was outstanding.

MilkLife Strikers’ sweet achievement was made perfect when the forward from Surabaya, Locita Waranggani, was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category thanks to her 2 goals and vital role throughout the competition.

From the start I just wanted to give the best performance I could for the team. I’m so happy to help the team win and get the MVP trophy. All of this is thanks to the support of my teammates, the coaching staff and my parents.
