MilkLife Strikers immediately appeared effective despite being under high-pressing pressure from the host. Locita Waranggani opened the scoring in the third minute, followed by Keyla Azzahra Putri’s goal and Nadia Shakila Azzahra’s penalty.

Ika Wonda then added two goals in the 10th minute to give MilkLife Strikers a 5-0 lead at halftime.

Entering the second half, Lion City Sailors managed to reduce the deficit through Hana Raiqa in the 23rd minute. However, Ika scored another goal in the last three minutes while completing a hat-trick and ensuring MilkLife Strikers’ victory with a score of 6-1.

MilkLife Strikers coach, Jacksen F Tiago appreciated the effectiveness of his team in taking advantage of opportunities. According to him, the players were also able to maintain their mental health even though they had to face pressure from one of the strong home teams.

I told the children that no matter how small an opportunity they had, they had to be maximized. That’s what they did today. Earlier the opposing team had done high-pressing, from there we managed to exploit the emptiness in their back line.
