MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title by beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final, and Locita Waranggani was named the category’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).
SINGAPORE, suaramerdeka-wawasan.com – The MilkLife Strikers team emerged as champions of the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U-12 category. In the final at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, on Tuesday, 3 November 2026, MilkLife Strikers beat Selangor FC Academy A 2-1.
The two winning goals for the team, formed by Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation together with MilkLife, were scored by Nadia S Azzahra in the 9th minute and Adelice Maureen towards the end of the first half.

It was revenge for MilkLife Strikers after they failed to contain Selangor FC in the group stage and were forced to give way by a narrow 0-1.
As well as the title they are bringing home, MilkLife Strikers also recorded an individual achievement through Locita Waranggani, who won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category.
The forward from Surabaya, East Java, scored only two goals during the tournament, but she was considered one of the key players in the team’s journey to the title.
Overall, MilkLife Strikers played in their usual style that afternoon, calm and relying on ball possession through a short-passing game from the start of the match.
Although Selangor FC Academy A had beaten them before and defended with discipline, MilkLife Strikers seemed undaunted and kept trying to find gaps to break through the opposing defence.
The effort paid off in the 9th minute. Nadia S Azzahra made use of the space to shoot, firing a volley into the bottom right corner of the Selangor FC goal.
After winning, MilkLife Strikers did not relax the tempo of the game. The pressure paid off again in the 20th minute through Adelice Maureen’s goal. Her shot failed to be anticipated by the Selangor FC Academy A goalkeeper, making MilkLife Strikers close the first half with a 2-0 lead.
In the second half, the two teams kept trading attacks. Selangor FC Academy A tried to close the gap and pulled a goal back in the 37th minute, three minutes before the end of the match.
However, MilkLife Strikers held on to their 2-1 lead until the final whistle, securing the title.
The win also avenged their 0-1 defeat by Selangor FC Academy A the day before.
MilkLife Strikers coach, Jacksen F. Tiago, appreciated the players’ response after losing to Selangor in the previous match.
He assessed that his team were able to maintain focus and show a strong mentality until they succeeded in winning the championship title.
“I salute the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat did not really affect their mentality. It was proven today that they could stay focused and dominate possession,’’ said Jacksen after the match.
Jacksen said he was satisfied with his players’ performance over the 2 x 20 minutes of the match and throughout the Singa Cup tournament.
‘’Personally, I am satisfied with what they showed throughout the tournament. On the pitch they could show a strong champion mentality even after losing,’’ he said.
Jacksen also praised the players’ attitude off the pitch. They got along well with each other and showed real loyalty to one another.
‘’I congratulate the players, and I hope this success will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia,” said Jacksen.
