SINGAPORE – The MilkLife Strikers football team secured their ticket to the Singa Cup 2026 final after finishing top of the Group A standings. Jacksen F. Tiago’s team will face Malaysia’s representatives, Selangor FC Academy A, in the final on Tuesday (3 November 2026) at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore.
MilkLife Strikers played two matches on the second day of the event, Monday (2 November 2026). They started the match with a landslide 13-0 victory over Nepal’s representatives, Rato Bangala, before having to concede defeat to Selangor FC Academy A with a narrow score of 0-1.

Even though they lost in the second match, MilkLife Strikers still has the right to occupy the top position in Group A with a collection of six points and a goal difference of +17. Meanwhile, Selangor FC Academy A finished in second place with a goal difference of +9, one goal ahead of Singapore’s representative, Lion City Sailors, who had a goal difference of +8.
This certainty made MilkLife Strikers meet Selangor FC Academy A again to fight for the championship title. Meanwhile, Lion City Sailors will face Rato Bangala in the match for third place.
MilkLife Strikers Assistant Coach, Sasi Kirana, appreciated the efforts of the players who she considered had shown their best abilities in these two matches. However, she admitted that there were still a number of aspects that needed to be improved, especially after her team lost to Selangor FC Academy A.
During the first match against Nepal, the players still showed high enthusiasm even though they knew that the team they were facing had a level of play that was slightly below ours. I really appreciated their struggle, they maximized every opportunity they had. In the second match, we did not manage to win. But the players still appeared persistent. Apart from that, both teams also performed well by exchanging attacks. For tomorrow’s final, there are several things that will be evaluated, especially how to be calmer even when we are behind. For the rest, I believe the players will continue to appear full of motivation.

One of the MilkLife Strikers players, Ferisa Dewi Widodo, also expressed her gratitude after scoring three goals against Rato Bangala. She said that self-confidence is one of the important factors that continues to be built to help her performance throughout the tournament.
I am happy and grateful that I got a hat-trick today. Since yesterday I have been convincing myself to appear more confident so that I can show my best. Thank God, today I was able to win against (the team from) Nepal. The struggle is not over because we are here to win. That is the motivation for me and my friends. Even though we lost earlier, it doesn’t matter, the important thing is that tomorrow we will fight again.
