MilkLife Strikers, Indonesia’s Girls U12 team, opened their Singa Cup 2026 campaign in Singapore with a 6-1 win over hosts Lion City Sailors.

Sumbawanews.com, – MilkLife Strikers, Indonesia’s U-12 girls’ team, began their Singa Cup 2026 campaign with a 6-1 thrashing of hosts Lion City Sailors at The Rainforest Hub, West Coast, Singapore, on Sunday, 1 November 2026. The winning goals were scored by Ika Wonda (3 goals), Locita Waranggani, Keyla Azzahra Putri and Nadia Shakila Azzahra, giving Jacksen F. Tiago’s team their first three points in Group A.

Ika Wonda, a forward from SD Kristen Manahan Surakarta primary school, was the star of the pitch with three goals that overwhelmed the opposing defence throughout the match. Besides her, Locita Waranggani, Keyla Azzahra Putri and Nadia Shakila Azzahra each added a goal, reinforcing MilkLife Strikers’ dominance throughout the match. The result puts them level on points with Selangor FC Academy A, who also won their opening match.

Coach Jacksen F. Tiago praised the team’s effectiveness in using every chance, even those that looked small. “I told the children that even the smallest chance has to be made the most of. That is what they did today,” he said. He said Lion City Sailors’ high pressure actually created empty space that his players exploited brilliantly.

Jacksen also praised the courage of the players, who were playing in an international tournament for the first time, for overcoming their nerves and playing with confidence. He stressed that the team cohesion built during intensive preparation was the main key to this success. The players, who come from various regions and different clubs, formed extraordinary chemistry on the pitch and showed solid teamwork.

This win is not only about the score, but also an important step in international match experience for the young generation of Indonesian women footballers.
