Kumbanews.com – Indonesian girls’ football team MilkLife Strikers have made their mark at international level. They emerged as champions of the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category after beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, on Tuesday (3 November 2026).
The win felt special because MilkLife Strikers also avenged a 0-1 defeat by the same opponents the day before. Jacksen F. Tiago’s players showed a strong mentality to bounce back and make sure the champions’ trophy went to Indonesia.
Two Goals Secure the Title
MilkLife Strikers took the attacking initiative from the start of the match. They relied on combinations of short passes to break down a disciplined Selangor FC Academy A defence.
The pressure paid off in the 9th minute. Nadia S. Azzahra made use of the space to shoot, firing a volley into the bottom right corner of the opponents’ goal. The goal put MilkLife Strikers 1-0 up.
The lead made the players even more confident. They kept pressing and keeping possession.
In the 20th minute, Adelice Maureen doubled the lead with a shot that the Selangor FC Academy A goalkeeper failed to deal with. MilkLife Strikers ended the first half 2-0 up.
In the second half, Selangor FC Academy A increased the intensity of their attacks. Their effort produced a goal in the 37th minute, cutting the deficit to 1-2.
However, MilkLife Strikers kept their concentration until the end of the match. The 2-1 score held, and the Indonesian representatives lifted the Singa Cup 2026 trophy.
