MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title in Singapore, beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final a day after losing 0-1 to the same Malaysian side.
SMOL.ID – MilkLife Strikers confirmed the title of Singa Cup 2026 in the Girls U12 category after defeating Selangor FC Academy A with a score of 2-1 in the final at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, Tuesday (3 November 2026). This victory was also revenge for the 0-1 defeat to the same team the day before.
MilkLife Strikers opened the match with a game of short passes and tried to dismantle the Selangor FC Academy A defense which appeared disciplined. This pressure resulted in a goal in the 9th minute. Nadia S. Azzahra took advantage of the shooting space to fire a volley which aimed at the bottom right corner of the opponent’s goal.

This advantage makes MilkLife Strikers even more confident. They continued to maintain the intensity of their attacks until they finally doubled the score in the 20th minute through Adelice Maureen’s kick which the Selangor goalkeeper was unable to stop. The 2-0 score lasted until halftime.
Selangor FC Academy A tried to recover in the second half. Both teams launched attacks on each other, before Selangor reduced the deficit with a goal in the 37th minute. Despite being under pressure for the remainder of the match, MilkLife Strikers was able to maintain its lead until the final whistle and seal a 2-1 win.
MilkLife Strikers coach, Jacksen F. Tiago, appreciated the players’ response after the defeat in the previous meeting. According to him, the team was able to maintain concentration and show a strong mentality to recover in the deciding match.
I applaud the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat did not really affect their mentality. It was proven that today they were able to stay focused and appear dominant in possession of the ball. Personally, I was satisfied with what they displayed throughout the tournament. On the field they were able to show a strong winning mentality even though they lost. Then off the field, their attitude was good and they were able to mix with each other. I congratulate the players, I hope this success will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia.

Locita admitted that she was grateful to be able to help the team become champions and take home the MVP award. She plans to continue practicing to develop her abilities.
From the start, I just wanted to give the best possible performance for the team. That’s why I’m really happy that I was finally able to help the team win and win the MVP trophy. All of this is also thanks to the support of my friends on the team and the entire coaching staff too. Then to my parents at home who have supported me in playing football so far. After this, I will continue to try to improve my game by practicing more actively to hone my skills.

Hopefully what we have achieved here will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia.
