MilkLife Strikers reached the Girls U12 final of Singa Cup 2026 after beating Nepal’s Rato Bangala 13-0 and losing 0-1 to Selangor FC Academy A, setting up a rematch with the Malaysian side for the title.

Harianjogja.com, SINGAPORE – MilkLife Strikers secured a ticket to the final Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category after ending the Group A competition in top position. The team coached by Jacksen F. Tiago will face Selangor FC Academy A again in the fight for the championship title, Tuesday (3 November 2026).

This certainty was achieved after MilkLife Strikers passed two matches on the second day of the tournament at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, Monday (2 November 2026). They first recorded a landslide 13-0 victory over Nepal’s representatives, Rato Bangala, before losing 0-1 to Selangor FC Academy A. Even though they lost in the second match, Selangor FC Academy A ranks second with a goal difference of +9.

Competition towards the final was tight because Lion City Sailors also collected six points. However, the Singapore representative had to settle for third place with a goal difference of +8, even though in the last match they won 12-0 over Rato Bangala.

MilkLife Strikers’ big win over Rato Bangala was an important asset in the standings competition. Locita Waranggani opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a long-range shot. Keyla A. P. Natawijaya then increased the lead four minutes later.

Nadia S. Azzahra added a goal in the 13th minute. One minute later, MilkLife Strikers’ attack again resulted in a goal which was recorded as an own goal after the ball hit an opposing player and went into the goal.

Approaching halftime, Adiba S. Primayuga successfully executed a penalty in the 17th minute. MilkLife Strikers also closed the first half with a 5-0 lead.

The domination continued after the break. Ferisa Dewi Widodo became one of the most prominent players after scoring three goals or a hat-trick in the 25th, 27th and 37th minutes.

Angelina P. S. Mongan also contributed a goal in the 31st minute, followed by Adelice Maureen in the 35th minute. Adiba completed the goal party with her second goal in the 39th minute. The 13-0 score lasted until the match ended.

A tougher test came when MilkLife Strikers faced Selangor FC Academy A. The match was delayed due to heavy rain which drenched the tournament location. After the weather conditions improved, the match finally continued and ended with a narrow 1-0 win for the Malaysian representatives.

The two teams now meet again in a much more decisive match. MilkLife Strikers will try to avenge this defeat and at the same time bring home the 2026 Singa Cup championship title.

MilkLife Strikers Assistant Coach, Sasi Kirana, appreciated the players’ enthusiasm which she considered was maintained in two matches with different results. According to her, the big win over Rato Bangala shows the player’s ability to maximize opportunities.

In the first match against Nepal, the players still showed high enthusiasm even though they knew the team they were facing had a level of play slightly below ours. I really appreciate their struggle, they maximized every opportunity they had. In the second match we didn’t manage to win. But the players still appeared persistent. Apart from that, both teams also performed well by exchanging attacks.

Facing the final, the coaching team will evaluate a number of aspects, especially the players’ composure when they are behind.

For tomorrow’s final, there are several things that will be evaluated, especially how to be calmer even when you are behind. For the rest, I believe the players will continue to appear full of motivation.
