Singapore (beritajatim.com) – MilkLife Strikers began their Singa Cup 2026 campaign with a brilliant result. Facing host representatives Lion City Sailors, MilkLife Strikers won 6-1 at The Rainforest Hub, West Coast, Singapore, on Sunday (1 November 2026).
Ika Wonda, a forward from SD Kristen Manahan Surakarta primary school, was the star of the win with three goals, a hat-trick. The other three goals came from Locita Waranggani, Keyla Azzahra Putri and Nadia Shakila Azzahra.
MilkLife Strikers came under immediate pressure from Lion City Sailors, who applied a high-pressing strategy from the start of the match. But Ika Wonda and her team-mates dealt with it through short passing to control the tempo of the match.

The opening goal finally came in the third minute through Locita Waranggani. She got past the opposing defenders before beating the Lion City Sailors goalkeeper.
MilkLife Strikers’ lead grew in the eighth minute. Keyla Azzahra Putri got her name on the scoresheet with a header. A minute later, Nadia Shakila Azzahra extended the lead to 3-0 from the penalty spot.
Ika Wonda then scored two more goals within one minute in the 10th minute. The 5-0 lead held until half-time.
In the second half, MilkLife Strikers kept trying to add goals. But Lion City Sailors pulled one back through a goal from Hana Raiqa in the 23rd minute.
Ika Wonda finally completed her hat-trick in the last three minutes of the match. The goal sealed MilkLife Strikers’ win with a final score of 6-1.
Jacksen F. Tiago, coach of MilkLife Kickers, praised his players’ effectiveness in making the most of their chances. He also said the players were able to cope with the pressure and nerves of the first match.
I told the children that even the smallest chance has to be made the most of. That is what they did today. The opposing team pressed high, and from there we managed to exploit the space behind their back line.

He also praised the team cohesion formed during the training camp. He said the players, who come from different schools and regions, had built good chemistry.
Meanwhile, Ika Wonda said she was happy to help the team win and to score three goals in the opening match.
Of course I am happy we could win today. It is thanks to the hard work of all the players, who trained diligently throughout the training camp. Today I also scored a hat-trick. That was in line with Coach Jacksen’s instruction to me that a striker’s job is to score goals.
