MilkLife Kickers opened Singa Cup 2026 Girls U14 with a 13-0 win over South Coast Baptist College of Australia, then fell 0-1 to hosts Lion City Sailors on day one in Singapore.

HARIAN DISWAY – MilkLife Kickers took hard lessons on day one of Singa Cup 2026 at The Arena, Woodleigh, Singapore, on Thursday, 5 November 2026. From two matches, the side coached by Timo Scheunemann secured one win and suffered one narrow loss: 13-0 over Australia’s South Coast Baptist College, then 0-1 to hosts Lion City Sailors.

13-0 win over South Coast Baptist College

Albianca Raula and Garneta F. Imelda each scored a hat-trick. Garneta scored in the 10th, 12th and 31st minutes; Albianca in the 14th, 15th and 28th. Anisa T. Sholica scored twice, in the 18th and 46th minutes.

The other goals came from Askara S. Fahilah (37′), Rere Z. Farza (41′), Ananda N. D. Berlian (43′), Riyanti S. Suryani (44′) and Giada Soebianto (45′).

Narrow loss to Lion City Sailors

The second match was much tighter. The hosts’ defensive discipline made it hard for MilkLife Kickers to develop their game. Madeliene scored the only goal in the 23rd minute from a cross on the left.

Coach Timo Scheunemann still praised the day-one display, especially the quick adaptation to 11-a-side.

I see they can quickly adapt to the 11 against 11 scheme. At MilkLife Soccer Challenge, they are used to playing 7 against 7 in the regional phase and 9 against 9 at the All-Stars stage. The players also succeeded in carrying out the instructions I gave, namely building attacks through a combination of passes.

Another thing that I have to appreciate is that they compete against opponents who are two years older than them. So, this is good for the players’ mental training.

Singa Cup has been held in Singapore since 2011. Girls U14 in 2026 is a single round-robin from 5 to 7 November. MilkLife Kickers are in Group A with Lion City Sailors, Fremantle City FC, BMW and South Coast Baptist College.
