MilkLife Kickers took hard lessons from two Girls U14 matches on day one of Singa Cup 2026 in Singapore.
Bola.com, Singapore – Indonesia’s Girls U14 side MilkLife Kickers learned valuable lessons on their first day at Singa Cup 2026 at The Arena, Woodleigh, Singapore, on Thursday (5 November 2026).
They played two matches: a 13-0 win over South Coast Baptist College of Australia, then a narrow 0-1 loss to hosts Lion City Sailors.

In the first match Albianca Raula and Garneta F. Imelda stood out with hat-tricks.
Garneta scored in the 10th, 12th and 31st minutes; Albianca in the 14th, 15th and 28th; Anisa in the 18th and 46th. The other goals came from Askara S. Fahilah (37′), Rere Z. Farza (41′), Ananda N. D. Berlian (43′), Riyanti S. Suryani (44′) and Giada Soebianto (45′).
The second match against Lion City Sailors was tighter. The hosts’ defensive discipline challenged MilkLife Kickers. Madeliene opened the scoring in the 23rd minute from a cross on the left; that was the only goal.
Adapting to 11-a-side
Coach Timo Scheunemann praised the side’s day-one display even without a second win, noting adaptation to older opponents and the larger format.
I see they can quickly adapt to the 11 against 11 scheme. At MilkLife Soccer Challenge, they are used to playing 7 against 7 in the regional phase and 9 against 9 at the All-Stars stage.

The players also succeeded in carrying out the instructions I gave, namely building attacks through a combination of passes.

Another thing that I have to appreciate is that they compete against opponents who are two years older than them. So, this is good for the players’ mental training.

Player Janeeta Alodya (Anet) said points still need improving, while she was glad to face teams from other countries.
Actually, our game was good today. But there are several things that still need to be improved. Today was quite challenging, especially the second match against the home team, Lion City Sailors. They were good opponents.

For the next match, we will improve communication between lines so we can increase cohesiveness.

Part of the development pathway
Teddy Tjahjono, MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director and Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation representative, linked the trip to the wider pathway after MilkLife Strikers’ Girls U12 title.
Just like what we did yesterday with MilkLife Strikers in the U12 category, MilkLife Kickers’s participation is also a form of our efforts to provide maximum opportunities to the best players from MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars.
Teddy Tjahjono, MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director
The goal is simple, we want to ensure that this level of development continues at every age group level. Today, the players gained valuable experience by facing teams from Australia and Singapore. Seeing their performance today, I am optimistic that the players will continue to develop in a better direction.
Teddy Tjahjono, MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director
Singa Cup has been held in Singapore since 2011; in 2026, 136 teams from 13 countries took part. Girls U14 is a single round-robin on 5–7 November. MilkLife Kickers are in Group A with Lion City Sailors, Fremantle City FC, BMW and South Coast Baptist College.
