Adelice Maureen Hanum F, a pupil at SDN Lowokwaru 3 in Malang, is part of the MilkLife Strikers squad that opened Singa Cup 2026 with a 6-1 win over Lion City Sailors.
JATIMTIMES – Proud news comes from the world of youth football. Adelice Maureen Hanum F, a student at SDN Lowokwaru 3 Malang City, is one of the players who strengthens MilkLife Strikers in the international event Singa Cup 2026 in Singapore.
MilkLife Strikers started the competition with brilliant results after defeating the host representative, Lion City Sailors, with a landslide score of 6-1 at The Rainforest Hub, West Coast, Singapore, Sunday (1 November 2026).

In the MilkLife Strikers squad for the U-12 girls category, Adelice is trusted to fill the midfielder position. She is one of the selected players from various regions in Indonesia to gain experience competing at international level.
MilkLife Strikers’ victory over Lion City Sailors was marked by Ika Wonda’s impressive performance. The striker from SD Kristen Manahan Surakarta managed to score a hat-trick in the opening match.
The other three goals were contributed by Locita Waranggani, Keyla Azzahra Putri and Nadia Shakila Azzahra from the penalty spot.
MilkLife Strikers coach, Jacksen F. Tiago, said the victory could not be separated from the players’ ability to maximize opportunities. Apart from that, the competitive mentality is also a concern considering that the players have to face strong opponents from other countries.
I told the children that no matter how small an opportunity they had, they had to be maximized. That’s what they did today. Earlier the opposing team had done high-pressing, from there we managed to exploit the emptiness in their back line.

The experience of competing in Singapore is a valuable opportunity for the players to develop their skills. Moreover, they come from different school and regional backgrounds so they need a process to build unity.
I’m also happy that the players were able to overcome their nervousness on the first day. Moreover, we managed to win against a strong team like Lion City Sailors. For me, them being able to come here and get playing experience is very valuable.
Jacksen F. Tiago, MilkLife Strikers coach
Jacksen added that team cohesion was also a concern during preparations before departure. Because the players come from different school backgrounds and regions.
Before leaving here, the players had made intensive preparations. From the start, we focused on improving the chemistry of the players on the field. As a result, today I saw that they all managed to blend in and appear unified.

This is part of our efforts to continue to develop women’s football development from grassroots level. We are trying to give the best players the opportunity to compete at a more competitive level.
Teddy Tjahjono, MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director
He believes that experience facing teams from various countries can enrich players’ abilities as well as increase match experience. This competition is also a benchmark to see the development of ongoing coaching results.
This step will certainly enrich their experience and increase their match experience because the players can directly test the quality of opponents from various countries. Apart from that, we also see this as an opportunity to measure the extent of the output of the coaching that has been carried out through the MilkLife Soccer Challenge.
