MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title in Singapore, beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final a day after losing 0-1 to the same Malaysian side.
Liputan6.com, Jakarta – MilkLife Strikers have made a proud achievement on the international stage. The Indonesian girls’ football team won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category after beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, on Tuesday (3 November 2026).
The title feels all the more special because MilkLife Strikers avenged a 0-1 defeat by Selangor FC Academy A in the match the day before. Jacksen F. Tiago’s players showed a strong mentality to bounce back and make sure the champions’ trophy went to Indonesia.

MilkLife Strikers showed promising play from the start of the match. They relied on combinations of short passes to break down a fairly disciplined Selangor FC Academy A defence.
The strategy paid off in the 9th minute. Nadia S. Azzahra made use of the space to shoot, firing a volley into the bottom right corner of the opponents’ goal. The goal put MilkLife Strikers 1-0 up.
The lead made the MilkLife Strikers players even more confident. They did not ease the pressure and kept trying to control the match.
As a result, a second goal came in the 20th minute through Adelice Maureen. Her shot was not dealt with by the Selangor FC Academy A goalkeeper, and MilkLife Strikers ended the first half 2-0 up.
In the second half, Selangor FC Academy A tried to fight back by increasing the intensity of their attacks. The effort finally paid off in the 37th minute when they pulled a goal back to make it 1-2.
However, MilkLife Strikers kept their concentration in the final minutes of the match. When the final whistle blew, the 2-1 score still stood, confirming the Indonesian team as champions of the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category.
Jacksen F. Tiago Praises the Players’ Mentality
MilkLife Strikers coach Jacksen F. Tiago praised the performance of his players, who were able to bounce back after losing to the same opponents the day before.
According to Jacksen, the players managed to stay focused and did not dwell on their disappointment. Instead, they showed a champion mentality by dominating possession in the final.
I applaud the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat didn’t really affect their mentality. It’s proven that today they can stay focused and appear dominant in possession of the ball.
