The student at SDN 3 Lowokwaru, Malang City, contributed one goal in MilkLife Strikers’ victory over Selangor FC Academy A with a score of 2-1 in the final which took place at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore.

This success is an achievement in itself for Adelice Maureen who is the only player from Malang in the MilkLife Strikers squad.

Before beating Selangor FC in the final match, MilkLife Strikers showed a more organized game by prioritizing short pass combinations.

Despite facing stiff resistance from Selangor FC Academy A, the team coached by coach Jacksen F Tiago was able to open the scoring through Nadia S Azzahra in the 9th minute.

The goal was created after Nadia took advantage of the opportunity to fire a volley which aimed at the bottom right corner of the opponent’s goal.

MilkLife Strikers’ 1-0 lead then increased towards halftime.

In the 20th minute, Adelice Maureen managed to get her name on the scoreboard after her shot couldn’t be stopped by the Selangor FC Academy A goalkeeper. The goal from the player from Malang meant that MilkLife Strikers ended the first half with a two-goal lead without reply.

Entering the second half, Selangor FC Academy A tried to catch up by increasing the pressure.

This effort resulted in a goal in the 37th minute so the position changed to 2-1.

However, MilkLife Strikers was able to maintain its lead until the match ended and confirmed itself as the champion of Singa Cup 2026.

This result was also revenge for the 0-1 defeat that MilkLife Strikers experienced when facing Selangor FC Academy A the day before.

MilkLife Strikers coach, Jacksen F Tiago gave a thumbs up to the toughness of his players.

According to him, even though he was still young, defeat in the previous match did not make his team lose confidence when they faced the same opponent again.

I applaud the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat didn’t really affect their mentality. It was proven that today they were able to stay focused and appear dominant in possession of the ball.

Jacksen F. Tiago, MilkLife Strikers coach

He also admitted that he was satisfied with the development of the players during the tournament.

Apart from showing their abilities on the field, the players are considered capable of showing a positive attitude while outside the match.

On the field they can show a strong winning mentality even though they have lost. Then outside the field, their attitude is good and they get along well with each other.

Apart from winning the title, MilkLife Strikers also took home individual awards.

Locita Waranggani was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the Girls U12 Singa Cup 2026 category.

The striker from Surabaya managed to collect two goals throughout the tournament and is considered to have made an important contribution in the team’s journey towards becoming champions.

Locita expressed her happiness because she was able to help the team achieve victory and at the same time received the best player award.

She said this achievement could not be separated from the support of her teammates, coaches and family.

From the start I just wanted to give the best performance possible for the team. That’s why I’m really happy to finally be able to help the team win and win the MVP trophy.

Locita Waranggani Olah Nismara, MilkLife Strikers player and Girls U12 MVP

She is committed to continuing to develop her abilities by increasing the intensity of training so that she can provide better performances on future occasions.

Meanwhile, MilkLife Soccer Challenge Program Director, Teddy Tjahjono, said that experience competing against teams from other countries is an important part of the process of developing female football players from an early age.

Hopefully what we achieve here will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia.
