MilkLife Strikers won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 title in Singapore, beating Selangor FC Academy A 2-1 in the final a day after losing 0-1 to the same Malaysian side.

SINGAPORE (SUARABARU.ID) – MilkLife Strikers successfully made Indonesia proud after winning the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category. The champion title was confirmed after the girls’ football team developed by Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and MilkLife defeated Malaysia’s representative, Selangor FC Academy A, with a score of 2-1 in the final, Tuesday (3 November 2026).

Competing at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, MilkLife Strikers appeared confident by relying on short passing and ball control. This victory was also an opportunity for revenge after the previous day they lost 0-1 to the same opponent.

Since the start of the match, MilkLife Strikers immediately took the initiative to attack. Even though Selangor FC Academy A appeared disciplined in defense, the pressure built by the MilkLife players finally paid off in the 9th minute.

Nadia S. Azzahra managed to take advantage of the shooting space to fire a volley which aimed at the bottom right corner of the Selangor goal. MilkLife Strikers also won 1-0.

These advantages make the MilkLife Strikers game increasingly developed. In the 20th minute, Adelice Maureen managed to double the score with a kick that the Selangor FC Academy A goalkeeper failed to anticipate. The score remained 2-0 until the first half ended.

Entering the second half, Selangor tried to catch up by increasing the intensity of their attacks. This effort resulted in a goal in the 37th minute, three minutes before the match ended.

However, MilkLife Strikers was able to maintain its lead until the final whistle sounded. The score of 2-1 ensured that the Indonesian team emerged as champions of the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category.

MilkLife Strikers coach, Jacksen F. Tiago, appreciated the mentality of the players who were able to recover after defeat in the previous match. According to him, the players remained focused and were able to show dominance in possession of the ball in the final.

I applaud the players’ performance today. Yesterday’s defeat didn’t really affect their mentality. It’s proven that today they can stay focused and appear dominant in possession of the ball.

Hopefully this success will be an inspiration for other children in Indonesia.

From the start I just wanted to give the best possible performance for the team. That’s why I’m really happy that I was finally able to help the team win and get the MVP trophy. All of this is also thanks to the support of my friends on the team and the entire coaching staff.
