The Indonesian girls’ football team successfully won the Singa Cup 2026 Girls U12 category after defeating the Malaysian representative, Selangor FC Academy A, with a score of 2-1 in the final at The Rainforest Hub, Singapore, Tuesday (3 November).

This championship felt special because it was a way to retaliate for MilkLife Strikers’ defeat to the same opponent the day before.
At that time, they had to concede defeat to Selangor FC Academy A with a narrow score of 0-1.
However, this defeat actually became a motivation for the players to get up and show their best abilities in the deciding match.
Since the first whistle sounded, MilkLife Strikers appeared calmer by relying on short passing games.
This strategy enabled them to build attacks in an organized manner to dismantle the Selangor FC Academy A defense which appeared quite disciplined.
MilkLife Strikers’ efforts finally paid off in the 9th minute.
Nadia S. Azzahra managed to take advantage of the shooting space to fire a volley.
The ball rolled into the bottom right corner of the Selangor FC Academy A goal and changed the position to 1-0.
These advantages make MilkLife Strikers even more confident.
They did not relax the pressure and continued to try to control the game.
As a result, the second goal was created in the 20th minute through the action of Adelice Maureen.
Adelice’s shot failed to be anticipated by goalkeeper Selangor FC Academy A. This goal gave MilkLife Strikers a 2-0 lead at the end of the first half.
Entering the second half, the match became increasingly tight.
Both teams launched attacks on each other to find additional goals. Selangor FC Academy A, who was two goals behind, tried to increase the pressure in order to reduce the position.
The Malaysian team’s efforts paid off in the 37th minute.
They managed to score a goal and change the score to 2-1, or three minutes before the match ended.
